Will be good to attend to the other million things that need doing tomorrow @KajiKita! Need to drop off a parcel for a survey and choose, wrap, pack boot sale items for starters. And get steps in before Dec. And raise my shoulders for shower and hairwash. And and and and 😁
Mr PIP also having to get up and out tomorrow, needs to go and meet a builder about possibly building the house but the pressing need is for them to submit the info the council needs to tick off one of the consents before we can start building.
So we basically need to say 'we have no idea when the council will let us do this so clearly you have no idea of your affordability and availability but we have to give you the job to get anywhere near being allowed to start the job as this form needs filling in, please don't consider this contract to be an actual contract but please do honour your quote and be ready for some unforeseeable time in the future as the council is likely to ignore us for another year/half a decade'. What could possibly go wrong3 -

25 minute walk voting, getting dental check up, getting flu jab
I am not a happy Pip.
P.S. I usually get up at 7.00am on Saturday (and Sunday 😱) to go for a run, except I have a stupid bad knee at the moment, so I will stay in bed for you this weekend. Suspect we will both be as annoyed as the other 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!2 -
Ugh. 😂
Morning @redofromstart, morning everyone
Hope we all smash Saturday and finish November as up to date with the tasks as we can be. If that includes catching up on sleep that is absolutely valid

Laptop collected just after 9am
Comping
Shower and hairwash
20 minute walk dropping off survey parcel
Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning cash for the flat pot and maybe a small treat please
Packed for car boot tomorrow
Flat clean. Very achey
F*cking omaze aren't letting me cancel my subscription that I won before it renews, emailed them and they were like 'yeah you prob can't cancel it cos the orders being processed'!
It's not the bloody renewal day till tomorrow, that's why I'm trying to cancel today!
Did everyone have a meeting without me where it was decided that concepts of time are now meaningless?
Dentist says three months, I book within three months, apparently the time has run out. Omaze says December, I try to cancel in November, apparently the time has run out.
The council say eight weeks apparently it's half a bloody decade.
Miraculously resisted going to the pub.
Laundry
Mr PIP is out tonight so I'll make myself a use-it-up pasta bake
Mr PIP said he liked the builder and he seemed to know what he was doing. Builder should be getting back to us with a quote mid month so hopefully that'll be some progress. Obviously has no impact on the council getting back to us but we're trying to stay positive deluded

You have my sympathy with the lack of response. What is it about public bodies that they are so unresponsive to the people whose hard earned money keeps them in employment.

Thanks @ladyholly, it is so frustrating (not to mention severely anxiety inducing what with needing somewhere to live). I generally have a lot of sympathy for those working in the public sector which still hasn't recovered from austerity, but this council department's attitude to us has been nothing but contemptuous and entitled for several years, and I wouldn't be in the slightest bit surprised if it turned out corrupt too.
But on a cheerier note, I have selected my 24 items of jewellery for my mse advent, a good mix of:
This is gorgeous, why do I never wear it
This is a bit showy for day to day, make yourself wear it and enjoy it
A couple of bits of silver that need a good clean so I'll have to make myself bother
One necklace that I'm not convinced by the fastening but we'll find out, not going to be worse off if I lose it than I am never seeing it, and might be fine
A couple of bits I like but aren't very 'me' but will be cute for one day each
A couple of bits I used to love when much younger but have grown away from, that will be good to see if I can restyle in a more current way rather than perceiving them through the eyes of looking back on a different age or era
Happy almost December everyone!6 -
Love the jewellery Advent idea.

Ugh 😂 Mornin'
Been up for a couple of hours, have done:
Admin
Tidying
A third wussy situps
Comping
Selected my 1st piece of advent jewellery, a pair of earrings that are fab but very 'party season'
Going out in the rain lugging bags to a boot sale is basically the same as a party right
Have a fabulous Sunday everyone, wish us luck for a few quid in the flat pot, if any customers are daft/intrepid enough to get out of bed on this miserable day!
