Well done for starting the complaints process with the trust. So wearing, but important.

I hope you have a quite but relaxing evening 😊

  • Thanks @KajiKita, I've actually asked them before and they just ignored me and were like 'we're resolving your issue!' and I'm thinking 'well you aren't but you don't not merit a complaint for eventually doing your job, it's not a favour, you literally can't even get your act together over your failures around someone's death'. I am so sick of everyone's sh*t
Anyhoo, hope you're having a nice holiday!

Sorry it's been a rubbish day, PiP. Hope something at least, even a tiny thing, improves tomorrow. Goodbye ceremonies are always difficult & leave a lingering sadness. I think part of this is because the 'received wisdom' is that such ceremonies help with 'closure', but I must admit this isn't something I have really ever found. I appreciate the elements which celebrate the person's life, but find it also seems to underline the loss, as I inevitably think, "Yes & they should STILL be here doing all these things". Ah well, you will have happy memories of your good friend & they are precious.

    Thank you very much
  • I don't know if the planning aid for london people could maybe help? Or point you to somebody who can?

Sorry it's a tough day. I'd send my McMo token if I could

I am fine thank you PiP. Like beanie tired withaching arms.

It is always hard saying goodbye especially to those special people in our lives but they still live in your heart and memory.

Well done on raising the complaint. It is so exhausting fighting officialdom.

  • Thanks all, I wasn't even at the cremation (family and an even older friend only) but was dreading the day and feeling sick all yesterday anyway. Just the celebration of life in a few weeks to get through now.

Woke knackered but determined to attempt a bit more of a positive attitude. Fancied eggs so got a 22 minute walk done straight away to buy some

Positive attitude wavered somewhat when I remembered that on top of hospital trust and council, I am also awaiting news of in which manner HMRC have managed to c*ck up my NI payments this time, but no point stressing about that until January as I have to wait a clearly perfectly reasonable 39 weeks from the last debacle to find out

There were a huge amount of ladybirds outside the window which is a bit odd but I'm choosing to see as a good sign. I don't know what of, I'm just trying to be positive 😂

HMRC the new swear word.  I did self assessment for years with no problem & then they invented simple assessment.  Believe me the word simple here is NOT the correct one.  Not all their fault always as the DWP routinely tell them the wrong state pension figure.  So far mine has not arrived for 23-24 when it normally arrives in July.  So getting worried that it has got lost in the post & forseeing fines/penalties in my future I rang the simple assessment line.  It seems my account has nothing showing at all for 23-24.  No state pension, no private pension and no taxable interest.  So no tax due.  Believe that you will believe anything.  Seemingly there is nothing I can do.
