I tried to sleep but was restless so kept turning light on/off to check results .. finally slept after seeing the results by 4 am including my local  district.
Next time i am buying Minstrels AND gf onion rings..
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

  • My grand plans of watching/semi working through the night were somewhat hindered by going to bed and sleeping straight through all the key points @LadyWithAPlan, I'm clearly too old for the rock and roll election night lifestyle 😂 Haven't even cracked open the minstrels yet but we did scoff a big bar of Cadburys with dime bits between us staying up a bit later than usual, so the evening was at least a success snacks-wise 😁

On Thursday I watched Judge Judy and New Tricks and ate Lidl dark milk chocolate (the £1.49 bar, not the very cheap bar).  Quite a highbrow evening chez Blackcats manoir.
Checked the results on Friday morning.
a bit like watching Match of the Day when you already know the scores.

Yougov survey, sent this morning (Saturday) asking about my thoughts if the conservatives lose the election. The election that happened last Thursday. Great work there guys

    Couple of receipt surveys
    Comping
    Listed Olio free item

    Flat clean with Mr PIP

20 minute walk with Mr PIP getting essentials from Aldi and dropping off a charity shop bag.
Found a book, accepted for 20p on ziffit, I'm over the cashout line! Will wait a bit in case of a bonus code though

    Laundry
Sent a couple of voucher codes to a random on FB, always pleases me when we can all help each other as fellow humans to get a wee bonus- and be mse 😁
Prepped a vegetable lasagne with help from Mr PIP to make up for all the pizza we've been eating lately!

15 minute carpet walk reading book for ziffit

DHL are desperate to be allowed to just dump my competition win parcel wherever they like, I'm being bombarded with texts and emails urging me to allow no-sign delivery. Don't think so treacle.

Decided we couldn't take any more getting rained on and so stayed in to watch the football, that's a few quid saved.
Oh my goodness, my nerves cannot take penalties. Very proud of the lads and especially my boy Saka, what a goal

Going to try to get an earlyish night as weather forecast for tomorrow is lightning storms (and rain, of course) all day from 11am so any outdoor tasks and activities will need to be done before then

Might crack open those minstrels though...

Lovely work from your boy Palmer @Blackcats, and I'm so pleased for our man Southgate, I've hated hearing all the negativity towards him in the media. I spend most of the games heckling the commentators!

The minstrels are about to make their appearance @KajiKita! I don't expect them to be around for a long stage career 😁

I don't know why they seem to be so hard to be so hard on Garath.  How easily they forget.
    Pass the minstrals
