It's £5 cash out @Sun_Addict but unlike mm, ziffit let you keep your basket until you cash out so you can add as you go.
They take CDs and DVDs too in case you weren't aware @badmemory though less easy to get those accepted since there are obviously significantly fewer buyers these days1 -
When I think of all the books I got rid of about 30 years ago I feel quite faint. Mind you I do still have some that I am sure there is no market for. Like my grandfather's (what would now be A level) text books. My grandfather would now be 137. His were a lot harder than mine too, although I do have the odd go. I still have mine too & some O level test papers & .... well you get the picture.

I also have some older books @badmemory and I always think 'surely these are collectors items for the right discerning bibliophile' and then realise that not only do people not really buy books any more (ugh) but some of these books are so old they don't have an ISBN so absolutely worthless for online cashing in sites!1

In book news we have just ordered two new Swedish Store "B1lly" tall bookcases for the spare room in order to expand the ever increasing upstairs library. You can just imagine how utterly content I feel at the idea of a few hours spent re-organising our books once they are built!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I enquired in a shop in a Welsh town known for it's large number of 2nd hand book shops - they were not interested in having any at all unless we could take enough to fill a large van!

What a satisfying job to look forward to @EssexHebridean
That is a sad tale @kayannie!
My pile of books that 'I'll probably get rid of, I just need one more read to make sure' is ever increasing. They're never going anywhere are they 😂1 -
Aww I’d hate getting rid of loved books, someone somewhere will love them 🤣
it’s premium bond winners day ? No joy this month ? I’m sulking as I didn’t win again ! That’s 3 months now, I’m consoling myself as it *must* mean a big one is round the corner ?…….

10 months on and I still love my LED face mask - not as much as my friends who rave about my skin and then insist on me pointing them to the nearest outlet to get one
Enjoy!
I was in the pub for Eng v Slo - how we danced and screamedDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Haven't checked @dawnybabes, I don't like to pressure Ernie 😂 I'm sure your big win is coming, remember your mse pals when you're rich!
The mask is terrifying @LadyWithAPlan, I look like an online hacker with a side hustle in sloppy serial killing who would ruin a thriller by being so inept I got found out a few pages in and no-one would have got their money's worth 😁
That sounds like a fab pub experience 😊1 -

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning 1k but I'd also very much appreciate a lightweight vacuum
15 minute carpet walk reading book for ziffit
Prepped the cheesy potatoes we didn't have yesterday
One hour walk with Mr PIP for a beer and post work catch up. Very pleased we ventured further for some extra steps as with this weather I'm going into hibernation mode several months early!
Mr PIP picked up a couple of loaves of fancy bread from Olio and I picked up three books
Went into the Sainsers Local on way back to check out the ys action, got a baguette, two mini baguettes, a pack of three quorn sausage rolls, and three packs of two cheese and onion rolls all for £2.36 so very pleased with that
