One of the all-time greats @WinterWarrior 😁
I've had a little productive flurry; someone came to pick up one of my free Olio listings, I replied to messages both personal and financial- the companies I need info from to progress with tax return who had in the usual tradition of these things entirely missed/ignored what I was asking, and also cleaned the bathroom. Badly, but an improvement has been made. Btw does anyone know of a secret magic way of cleaning mirrors that involves no money spending and definitely no use of shoulders?!1 -
I too used to be a "get it out of the way" tax return doer - that was back in the day when interest was dealt with by the banks rather than needing declared, so mine was always an absolute doddle, and was almost always done and dusted by the end of April even with my approach of doing a bit, getting distracted, then doing a bit more a few days later!
MrEH likes Hophead - it's not for me though, I apparently have a particular expression I pull when tasting a very hoppy beer, and that triggers it every time! (not as bad as Oakham's JHB though - Bleeeeuuuurghhhh!
Good news on the £250 - even if it probably should have been more, sometimes you need to know when you've done enough to consider a battle at least mostly won, don't you! It would be ironic if you end up having to make a further complaint about them being rubbish about paying it, too!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I'm also a big fan of Oakham JHB @EssexHebridean 😂 Their Citra is lush too 😁
Yeah the £250 is £250 more than I thought I'd get from them so at least that's something, we shall have to see about future complaints- I have no doubt they'll merit them..
I seem to have turned into a very complainy person which isn't my natural character but if those with power are going to behave like sh*ts then they should get at least a tiny bit of pushback on it!2 -
Woke up a little later than intended as was tired from AVG browser which turned itself on and updated TWICE in the night and lit up my screen with bright white. That promptly got deleted in the morning!

That would have been a result @South_coast 😁
Kroo are being unhelpfully helpful and keep sending me tech suggestions, I'm like 'I proper don't care, please just tell me the thing so I can get my tax return done before I lose all motivation!'

Well I woke up hoping to have a productive and lively day and my shoulder is absolutely screaming with pain so that'll be a no.
Did a bit of work, admin and tidying, though have had to ask mum to do the washing up as I really can't which is a bit sh*t.
Need to get at least some steps but will have to be done very slowly in small chunks.
I'm going to focus the rest of today on any admin type jobs that involve no movement, though shoulder not thrilled about even typing. Ho hum.1 -
