Nice one @dawnybabes, how will you be spending/saving your win?
Maybe Ernie's saving up for your big winning amount @WinterWarrior
No such thing as just £25 @joedenise 😁2 -
We are new to buying bonds, as only started purchasing in December. Psychologically, I think I will need to win SOMETHING to prove to myself 100% that our numbers are actually in the draw & not at the back of a drawer instead! Intend to keep buying a batch monthly.
F2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (36/100) 3) The Shrinking of Foxgloves 6.5kg/30kg

It can be really hit and miss @foxgloves but the possibility of having the (admittedly small) chance of winning a big amount is fun. No harm in having a chance if the bills are paid!1

My PB are my emergency fund, sadly they will be reinvested ! I’ve never had it so won’t miss it 🤣🤣🤣Sealed pot challenge 822

Reinvesting to get yourself closer to Agent Million sounds a good shout @dawnybabes!0

Had to concede defeat and have much less of a productive day than I wanted as chronic pain condition was really awful after a shower and hairwash
But managed to do:

Comping
Entered some other competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning 5k in store vouchers but I'd also like a years supply of loo roll. Hope they don't send it all in one go
15 minute carpet walk
Couple of books accepted by WBB
Had arranged to see a friend, and I always seem to be feeling shoddy when we plan to meet so wasn't backing out again, fortunately just 20 minutes walking. Had a nice catch up, knackered now though
Got the weekend crossword, hopefully brain will have enough energy that my showing won't be too shameful
Sarnie for dinner as too tired to cook anything
Hope all my lovely mse-ers are having a fabulous Friday evening x

Sorry you are suffering, but glad you enjoyed a nice catch up with your friend. I wonder how they work out what a years supply of loo roll actually is? One person’s average year could be another’s 6 months 🤭Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Thanks @WinterWarrior. That thought occurred to me too, if I win I might have to politely mention the chronic pain condition that includes affecting the lavatorial areas 😁
My friend got us a packet of crisps when we were out and started going pffpffpff and there was a proper solid little stone in the crisps and hence her mouth! She said she wouldn't get round to contacting them but I said I would, not even getting my compo face on but if they've had a batch of crisps that could break a tooth or even choke someone I feel I should give them a heads up. Free crisps would be nice though 😂5 -

Tidying (very grumpily as joints and particularly shoulders still bad. Might have told the duvet cover to f*** off. Sorry duvet cover)
Sent a to-do list to Mr PIP, on his day off, when he's got some time alone. I'm a keeper 👀😁
Finally made myself do that piece of work
20 minute carpet walk
Did the online form about the stone in the crisps
30 minute walk getting a big oat treat bar from Olio
Bit of reading
(Btw Chinua Achebe's African Trilogy especially Things Fall Apart is excellent)
Little bit of comping
Time now to enjoy one of my inherited beers and look at the crossword
Dinner is pasta with leftover splodge and loadsa cheese, and salad
Evening will be reading and maybe getting some things off the to-do list or if I prefer, reading some more and eating Easter egg remnants. This is of course productive as it's tidying the kitchen 😁
