Difficult to read tbh, thread list colours are all very similar and "white", hard for the eyes to focus on the pertinent bits of information.
Also can no longer see the time of last post, only (presumably) the date? It used to be really easy to identify which threads I'd read or not by the date/time of the latest reply.
*Edit, Date/Time of latest reply does show, but only sometimes. Weird!2 -
Here's a highlighted example of one of the worst things about the new design:The display of that info's bad, and that's putting it politely.Really hope it's possible to change it back to something similar to the previous version, which was considerably better, or at least get rid of some of it.As has been mentioned, the new posts indicator needs to stand out much more, the name of the board should be removed, and likewise the unnecessary stat on how many thanks the first post got!3

I use the site on an iPad and this upgrade is not too bad (not sure it’s an improvement though)Just a few questions though.Where’s the ‘latest posts’ or whatever it was called button?
Is there anywhere for the user to alter the contrast, colour scheme etc to set it for individual preference?
Can the user amend the number of posts per page?0 -
I had made a suggestion of changing the colour or somehow highlighting the OP posts throughout a thread so it is clear in the thread (especially if it is 100s of pages long).0

The forum homepage is so dominated by adverts it's clear that the forum is less important by being relegated to the far right strip of the page.
Once in there, the individual boards aren't defined and prominently displayed, it's too time consuming unless you've got lots of it to spare - some members just have a quick read, in and out.5 -
badmemory said:...I haven't read all the comments because I got to page 4 & my eyes had had enough. Is this because I read on a desktop & these things are no longer designer for me? I am less than mobile at the moment & so normally read for a few hours every day.3

This is the page full-screen on my 4k display. The content doesn't resize with the window.Content itself is about 5% of the page.Fortunately, if I make the window a lot narrower, the frippery on the right-hand side disappears (down to the bottom of the page) and I get something which might be usable. However, I've got to figure out how to navigate the site (ie. where the topics and latest discussions are!).

Ok on iPad but on my phone it only shows about 6 posts per page, the font is huge0

I quite like the new homepage.
There's one thing I find super irritating, it's the way the drop down lists appear as you move your mouse past them (Quick Links & Categories) - could you make them click to reveal drop down?
TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!6
