In simple terms if its possible to return to the old 'Skin' do so, it looks like a mobile simple view and is terrible for desktop users.

Yes notifications seems to be all confused at the moment. Sometimes I get the little red and white number on my bell - sometimes I don't - then it says there are new notifications but when I go - they're ones I've already read - there's a 'mark all read' at the bottom of the notifications box, but it doesn't seem to work.

Just to add to the complaints

I use a pc, and the amount of visible content seems to have reduced to that of a mobile 'phone screen but the text is far too large.

The contrast is wrong, and the pages are unpleasant to read.

The "new posts" icon is difficult to see.

The previous skin was orders of magnitude more pleasant and usable.

It's worth remembering, as a member earlier pointed out, that this is a free service that we all use. Many contribute to the service, even more benefit from it. It's a good community, one of the best.

Working on a tablet now the headder bar at the top. Thats better.
Except that as I scroll up the blue remains but the words vanish.

That darn red blob of a plus sign follows me round. At the bottom when reading, at the top when typing but always covering something. It's on the right so I'm catching it with all the extra scrolling that's necessary now because like many I'm right handed........
