Utterly dreadful. Hard to find content. Confusing layout . Awful colour scheme.  Hope you didn't pay for this amateur looking mess.

So far I'm not impressed with
    - horrible  brilliant white screen making my eyes ache
    - big red blob with a cross in it getting in the way
    - no bar at the bottom of the screen on mobile to easily find bookmarks or notice any messages
-generally having to jump through more hoops to achieve something that was simple before
-agree that it takes forever to get back to beginning of thread to check OP but I think that facility disappeared with a previous 'improvement' and was never restored

Dreadful. Awful. Abysmal. Eye straining. Wasted space & a waste of space.  I'll just go & sign out now.

The composition system is even worse in terms of paragraph spacing.  Try to single-space paragraphs.  If it looks right in the composition mode it becomes double-spaced in Preview - and triple-spaced (may actually be quad-spaced) in the posted item.

Just look at some of today's postings - paragraphs all over-spaced.

EDIT: Yep, this post is showing this exact effect.  It was typed with single-spacing

There's way too much information on one line, most of it unnecessary. 8 items I counted with a mix of words and symbols.
The whole thing too bright and in your face. Feel like I'm using a site for the visually impaired, seriously.
Disagree, a forum for blind/VI people needs more contrast and more obvious differentiation between thread title/starter/etc., and a screen reader would have TONS of irrelevant things to read other than the actual content.

bookmarking competitions from main competition time page adds several 'new' comments each time so ends up like this:  (the multiple news disappear after refreshing page)

I use a PC, so my comments are based on that:
    • I don't mind the whiteness, its better IMO than the earlier fluorescent coloured upgrade
    • Paragraph spacing is too big, and uses up too much space.
    • You used to be able to get to an individual group of threads (eg Work, Benefits & Business) from the LHS, now you have to go to All Boards, and scroll and scroll to find what you want. If it must work that way, the list of boards could do to be collapsed down to make it easier to find what you want.
    • The list of links on the RHS is actually the same as the "Quick Links" on the top bar. It would be a better use for the RHS links box if it listed the individual boards, to reduce the number of clicks to get to where you want - someone once said that if it takes more than 2 clicks to get anywhere on a web-site, most visitors won't bother.
    • The quick Links / Categories / etc bar is a nuisance, it is triggered too easily (eg if you have more han one thread opened on different tabs - changing tab triggers a menu, which seems to stay open on the original tab when you return to it). It would be better as a click & drop.
    • I can fit a maximum of 3, 1- or 2-line comments to a thread on my PC screen. That's not really enough as it means scrolling every few seconds (I'm a fast reader).
    • The pictures on the Home Page are much larger on the whole than those on eg the Insurance and other financial sections.

I haven't found any startlingly wonderful aspects of the new layout - I live in hope, but so far I'm not quite sure of the benefit to the site of the change.

Apologies to the forum team if they feel this is a bit of a pile-on. But this is feedback after all. So, in good spirit, may I ask what you think has been improved?
