In a business sense, us forumites live in a rare world of importance in terms of mission-vital soft power, but impotence in terms of monetary value1 -
How many people have already hit report when they meant to hit quote? That aside. I haven't read all the comments because I got to page 4 & my eyes had had enough. Is this because I read on a desktop & these things are no longer designer for me? I am less than mobile at the moment & so normally read for a few hours every day.

Too white, dislike the font, makes my eyes ache, I view on PC. Sorry, really don't like it.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

This addon for Chrome at least turns the site into some sort of dark mode by injecting some code into the site to override parts of the CSS. Not perfect but makes it a little bit less awful.

Lot's of options available, I prefer the blue dark mode. Below is the native version straight after install.

Not a fan of the changes to say the least.
The long standing bug of forum list refreshing when you go back from a post is still there. Awful on mobile.
The new design is too flat (almost monochrome) to the point it's now harder to tell what topics are unread, and no mof unread messages.
And the tool to mark a forum category as read (under the profile icon) seems to be gone now.
Edit - and the red plus button is such an eyesore.
Not good.. honestly no improvements just a massive step back.1 -
Notifications don't seem to know if they're coming or going - 4 notifications for the same thing - first there were 3 at 10.28, then 5 at 10.45, then 3 again at 10.54 and 5 again by 11.22 - but only one actual new comment when I went to look....

Not a fan, a backwards step (yet again). Anyone know where to find the "Mark all threads as read" option? I'm finding it difficult to keep track of which threads I've seen.1

Also to add, it took me forever and many clicks to find where to change my signature. Before you could just click your profile picture and access it from there. Now I have to click on my picture, then my username, edit profile on the small green box near the top of the page then scroll down to signature settings. I really liked how bookmarks worked previously - it is a bit frustrating with it being hidden in a menu this time. If it could please be added back to the header bar with the messages and notifications, that’d be really helpful.
Also to echo others, the white is quite bright white - if it could be a less vibrant shade perhaps, that’d also be good.
