I would not be using the forum much if it stays in this form. Hard on the eyes and difficult to read on the iPad. Hard to find threads I am interested in.5

Regrettably I am going to have to cease posting for the moment. The low contrast, high white scheme is causing severe eye-strain, so without any ability to modify this I will not be able to continue helping people here...8

I have a few things I don't like/issues:
- the list of forums page takes up much too much space. Should be just a simple list of all forums. You have to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the bottom of the list.
Should be much narrower to take up less space.
It also makes is MUCH harder to find a forum due to this long list. - the latest discussions page only has 10 posts each page and you can't increase it! To say how long the list of forums is and this is tiny! We should be able to have more on a single page than just 10 posts. Lots more clicking through the pages = less accessible.
- Also on the latest discussions page, I think that forum post titles aren't big enough OR the body of a post is too big on the list of latest/recent discussions.
It is a bit harder to see where a post ends and a new post starts as the font is almost the same size on the recent posts list.
Although I do like that some of the bugs that remained from the last version have gone such as the bug I raised where latest posts don't show anything but the forums you follow. There was supposed to be a check box so you could change view, but that didn't appear on desktop, only mobile. That never got resolved and caused issues, but thankfully that has gone.
A suggestion is to let us have more than 10 posts a page on the latest discussions as that is so limited now and we can't customise it at all.

Its not as bad as I thought it would be but it doesn't look that good on computers.
The two main issues I have is that
1 - text is overly large in some areas (e.g. the text box to type replies into)
2 - The subject of messages in the forum section is difficult to read.
e.g.
The font size of who started it and replied should be smaller and/or in a lighter colour. At the moment, it overpowers the subject. Plus, we don't need the forum section name in each and every subject (in this case, Pensions, annuities and retirement planning). However, if there is a good reason for reminding you multiple times which section you are in, then make it smaller and less dominant.
The new message box could be a different colour too.
When scrolling down a section to see the message threads with new responses, the new layout is more difficult to follow than before. Try it - go into any section that is busy with new messages and scroll down them. The wall of similar coloured text doesn't make it easy.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Almost impossible to read, it all looks like a solid wall of text
Takes 4 times as long to navigate anywhere
Hate itNot just a sucker for sweeties..:o6 -
Tried it on a laptop where I visit a couple of weeks to upload photos.Massive white screen - massive text - large red cross in the reply box covering some of what you've written - lot of scrolling through the forums, if you are new that would be a turn off, not good for me either. Would definitely reduce my posting to dire winter days. There's way too much information on one line, most of it unnecessary. 8 items I counted with a mix of words and symbols. The whole thing too bright and in your face. Feel like I'm using a site for the visually impaired, seriously.Tried it on my kindle fire which I use several times a day.Same massive red cross, lists and information I don't need take over most of the screen. The list of forums doesn 't load, the forums don't load. Beautiful evening in July, should I phaff around with this to try and make it work. I don't think so.Need to find all the forum links and attach again. Saved for a rainy day.Would a newbie use it? Highly unlikely. If this was how it was when I started I wouldn't be here now.Positives?Loading a photo was quicker.Seems to be change for changes sake. It was fine how it was and lots of newbies needing help. But I wonder if the phone adicts find it better? Curious.

I found it! Way down at the bottom.0 -
Not liking the new layout at all. What I'm finding annoying is when you move the cursor to the green bar at the top, even by accident, the whole menu pops out and takes over the entire page and it takes ages to disappear. And search in comps is STILL not working properly.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £149.19 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)4

The new forum is quite cumbersome to use and there's loads of wasted space. This is what I see when signing in:And then within a thread I get about 1 post visible:

I don't like the new layout, primarily because there is very little colour contrast making it more difficult for older people to see. I also found it more difficult to navigate than on the old version.8
