Hoping not to lose my bookmarks as I am part way through some epic and useful threads and don’t want to lose them (or my place where I have got to in them ….).

Don’t understand why coloured text is so important (I find replies quite hard to read when they are in paler colours) but a more usable bold, italics etc function would be welcome 😊

So it's going to be more suited to my tiny tablet? And less suited to my laptop?

Are the release notes for this change available?

There's a lot of speculation, and 99% of the points on this thread are very valid.

Would be nice to see some specifics before getting too positive/negative.

How is mine still green?  Is the new one actually going to work on desktop & I will never be able to read it on anything smaller.

I am still on the green layout as well. There was a mechanism for changing back to it at one point. Not holding my breath now though that it’s going to stay in place.

Yellow link on pale yellow background is not my idea of "accessible", although I frequently see worse in even smaller fonts elsewhere. Like mid grey on pale grey.

I need a good contrast between background & print as my eyesight is failing a little more every year.  Please don't expect me to use a smart phone as I can't make them work.  My friend sometimes asks me to asnwer his for him when he is driving.  I have tried everything from hardly touching to thumping & still can't answer so I am unlikely to waste my money.  Unlike when we had the old TVs c1980 I am no longer fit enough to jump & press.  (static electricity)
