Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.3 -

The current quoting system is messy - I find myself in HTML view more often than not.
Judging from the negative replies in this thread already - I'd just like to say to the MSE team not to be discouraged. Humans are hardwired to resist change and I spend half my life dragging my team kicking and screaming onto systems which they usually end up accepting are superior later on.
I have no problem with this edition, if it's not broke don't fix it.
The only good thing about the last failed upgrade was it was pulled quick3 -

However this isn't a change of software, it's an upgrade.I also disagree with money saving applies to forum software as well. There is a vast different say between phpBB (free) and Xenforo (Paid).

It usually means gigantic fonts, lots of white space and really narrow columns, totally unsuited to laptop screen view....Being brave is going after your dreams head on13 -

In all my years I've never see a worse search function
How many users with their many thousands , some tens of thousands of posts, have been involved in beta testing?

Please tell me this doesn't involve a new text editor like the one that was introduced in April, then quickly pulled? Does "no change in functionality" mean we'll be able to do whatever we do on the site now?2

Does anyone know for how long the site would be down on Tuesday 11th? I mostly only use the site for competitions and wonder if I need to save all the "magazine daily" links somewhere else if the site's down for too long. Echo someone else's sentiment that I hope bookmarks and the front page of "Competitoins time" won't change so I can find everything! Thanks to everyone
