Thanks @beanielou. So ambassadors, board guides or similar are asked for feedback. That's a positive as you'd know what it's like as a user. 👍

I lost a post earlier today reason given not enough body. I was describing going to the Bruce Springsteen concert in Hyde park. Nothing nasty just describing a day out
No idea how  a  longish post can be described as not enough body. My cog went missing too.

One thing I would hope from the new forum is that this skin remains. The green one was disliked by many. it hurt my eyes. I do remember there was a lot of disagreement but this lighter one is much clearer and  won the vote.
A return to the original emojis would be good. Typing ROL doesn't have the same effect as the image. There were emojiis for  every occasion.and the ability" to type clour brightened things up.

There was one poster on the daily thread who wuld post a carol through advent with a lovely picture until Christmas day. Another telling us  of the suprises she;d made or the family. Both are sadly missed.

Can I just ask that the cutting down/giving up alcohol thread is considered when changes are made.  It has helped so many people and is literally a life-saver in some cases, but at the last change it didn't work properly.  I haven't been using the site too long so am certainly no expert it how it works but I do know how important this thread is to people.

Whilst I understand the problem you mention is a very real one, is it a moneysaving issue?

The Giving Up/Cutting Down Alcohol challenge and No-Spend days challenges on the Debt Free Wannabe board use emojis (which are really animated gifs) as part of a reward system to help people cut down on the number of days they drink, or spend. The emojis/gifs are the all-important factor that motivates people to succeed at the challenges. No one can really say why they work but they do. Last time when the new text editor was brought in it completely changed how pictures were displayed and it would have meant that we couldn't use the emojis/gifs. Basically it made the challenges unworkable. If the text editor had allowed the use of html code I could probably have made it function but it didn't, so being able to switch to html would also be useful in any new system.

There is no specific comment about emojis here? These are used in very specific ways e.g. on @cathybird’s NSD challenge, which has been invaluable to me and many others.
PLEASE if we do have emoji issues with the new systems, can they be prioritised for rectification after roll out?

I second this, thank you, Indi
