Be aware, if you are travelling in August, that trains are being routed via Birmingham and the journey is taking 3 hrs 20 mins or so. Once September kicks in, the website is saying trains will be normal again, but I never entirely believe engineering work deadlines! If you have to travel then, head for coach G which will be downgraded from 1st class for at least a week into September, if I remember correctly.

How annoying, no tickets available for 14th Aug!! Oh well there's always National Express to fall back on. The only thing is I'm not actually going to Manchester which will mean I'll have have to pay the full fare. Well full fare with 10% discount that is.

Looks like they've stopped this service? Only one more booking available then it's just blank.

A bit annoying that they don't accept Electrion/Switch too.. potentially a very good resource if it returns.
