Just been on Virgin to London and from the 14th December a new VHF (Virgin High Frequency) train service starts cutting the journey time from Liverpool to London to 2hrs 12mins which is about 25mins quicker. Also dropping the cheapest single fare from £13 to £8.
So keep you eyes peeled for the publicity blurb which must be kicking in soon.0 -
It's now extended till Nov 10, but minus the print at home option. You have to have it sent to your mobile phone.0

I've been trying to book tickets to Manchester for the last month or so, to collect a guitar I bought up there!
First of all I've had such trouble getting this service to work with my phone, and then I'm getting the busy message too! The busy message makes no sense. I've got on the site a few times recently, but this is completely at random. It'd make sense for the site to be less busy at 2-3am in the morning, but it appears the site is still quite busy...
This is really frustrating me, does anyone have any idea? I need to get up to Manchester soon anyway, so I might have to book a normal ticket on my own instead of going up for the day with my missus
Thanks!0 -

Ah, that makes more sense...
It's been up recently, but had no luck registering mobiles -- I get sent the link, but loading the link on my phone gives me an error message. Great, just great! I may end up forking out for a normal ticket at this rate, as I've needed to pick up something from manc from the last few weeks.
Thanks a lot, trainline.com:mad:
