Quite pleased as the pastry is really nice, not like cardboard! plus I had abit of difficulty trying to find a smaller cutter for the lids - used an egg cup in the end!

PENPIN - Good luck and Happy Christmas. I'll raise a glass to your good health!

NICOLA - haven't heard from you for a while; let's hope LO has arrived in time for Christmas!

Mince pies look fab, SHEZ - I'm sure at least three of them had my name written on them! Which one are you in the photo of the four girls? I imagine you being the one on the left?

Well, I've packed my shopping away and I'm just having a cuppa before doing some wrapping up. I hate packing food away and, this time, I've had to cram it in every available nook and cranny.

DH had a discrepancy with his pay for some work done a couple of weeks ago. I phoned the payroll office to be told that the amount paid was all that they had been authorised to pay. It was almost £300 short! Anyway, chap in charge phoned later to say he had made a mistake! It's too late to recitfy it now but the balance will arrive next Friday. I shall email them a reminder later on today.

Well, I still feel a bit 'coldy' but mainly just have a nagging cough - mind you, I'm not alone. It seems half the people out and about shopping have got it as well. I just hope it clears up quickly.

Anyway, off to wrap some more presents. I don't seem to be getting to the bottom of the pile.
