MSE News: Plusnet Mobile customer? You need to switch provider as it's closing down

My wife and I took up the EE offer. One on 125Gb, one on 5Gb, With the intention of gifting data from one to the other.
Unfortunately, for data gifting, both phones need to be on the same account.
EE said that we could move one of them onto the other account, but only after three months. :-( It's a bit disappointing, but we'll cope.
So ... if you're moving a group of phones, don't follow the plusnet link. Instead call EE and set them up as a family on one bill.

I have left Plusnet after a long time (Original Life mobile customer) and moved to 1pMobile without any issues.
The final bill from Plusnet showed me £2.74 in credit and they sent me a cheque!
Well, I didn't expect that, not sure how to pay a cheque in to my account these days.

I left Plusnet last month. Then they took my DD. When I called them the bloke spoke to me like I was stupid.
Told me I would be credited back this month what I hadn't used. (All fine).
Now I've had an email saying I am in credit but no mention of what happens to that or a refund.
No goodbye email or acknowledgement either

Gambler said:I've just received an email from plusnet stating that due to a technical glitch the March price increase they told me about (they didn't !) has not taken place and will be from 1st July instead.
No details of the price increase. I was transferred over from Life so have never had a price increase before. Which is one of the reasons I've never moved.
Turns out I should never have received the email about a price increase. Bill remains the same.

Plusnet have refunded my unused line rental, about a week before they would ordinarily have took the DD. They didn't refund it to the account my DD was currently taken from, but the previous one (I switched the DD manually).

I've still not been informed of plusnet closing down yet.
Anyone else in this situation?0 -
forgotmyname said:On 30 day rolling contracts and we have received nothing about them closing. I have known for a while due to
the threads on here and elsewhere. Just getting billed as normal, with the billing emails arriving with no issues
so not an email problem. Strange they have not sent emails to us?1 -

I have only just had an email (Friday 21/7/23) telling me Plunet mobile was closing and offering EE at £6 per month - free calls and txt 5GB data on 30 day rolling contract. About to checkout Which? and comparison sites.0

Weirdly they've just issued a zero bill after what I thought was my last bill containing my credit balance which has already been refunded.
