I do marmite pasties - I roll out pastry to a square or round and spread marmite on half (using back of a spoon is easiest way), then sprinkle grated cheese over. Fold in half and cook. It's very yummy. My OH loves it but doesn't even like marmite!
You could also freeze your pastry to use on another day, if not already defrosted."It is always the best policy to speak the truth-unless, of course, you are an exceptionally good liar." - Jerome K Jerome0 -

I usually use ground cumin and ground coriander, sometimes turmeric - I like them quite spicy. The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0

I have had a look on search but cant find a pastie recipe. Does anyone have one bearing in mind - I have no clue pastry. My son adores the cocktail pasties from Jenkins bakery but cost cutting means I cant afford them - so the next best thing is to make them.Total 2019: £3972 - Best win this year £3000

Hiya, I've added your post onto the thread that PP linked to.
Really, once you've got your pastry you can put pretty much anything you like into a pastie - as long as you don't call it "Cornish"Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
