Now for a healthier, wealthier me

Good morning. I’m now off work but I think I will still post over the Christmas period. I feel like it will keep me on track with finances and not get carried away with all the “last minute” this and “don’t forget” that.Grocery shopping needs to be done in the morning but I am going to try and go for when it opens as hubby is on early shift and will be heading to work at 5am. I will be awake anyway so I might as well.Todays PAD was £20.18, £5 of this was to the sabbatical and £15.18 to the sealed pot. Both are growing steadily
Today will be a NSD for me. Last minute cleaning and planning, need to make an extensive grocery shop list for tomorrow as I don’t want to spend a moment longer in the supermarket than I absolutely have to. I have also promised DSD that I will watch Hamilton with her this afternoon. Will make a change from Christmas movies or football.
Well, that’s your lot from me today.Hope you’re all ok and you have great days!

I had the grocery shopping done by 6:15am, so although I am tired it's all done and dusted and I don't meed to worry about doing that for another year...
Managed a Prolific cash out of £10.38 this morning too so I've added that to the sealed pot and the usual sabbatical £5 went out like clockwork. It's also a NSD for me. I don't include grocery shopping as that's an essential and I didn't deviate from the list so I did well.
I have friends coming to visit for the day today so I will be too busy to spend anything anyway.
Hopefully I can start to relax now the groceries are taken care of and begin to feel festive!

Merry Christmas Eve-Eve… not long to go and I am spending the day delivering presents. The only money spent will be on fuel filling the tank back up, but fuel is an essential so it will be another NSD for me today.I’ve sent £5 to the sabbatical as usual today and I will do my dice rolls tomorrow I think. Too busy today.
Thats today’s update. I hope you’re all ok and not feeling the panic of Christmas week.LMD xLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £6573 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3364/£6000 | Travel savings £1508 | Sinking pots £25710 -
Well, it's Christmas Eve, it's already busy on our house prepping for family visiting this afternoon. I've snuck away to do some life admin and roll my dice for this week. £73 from that has been added to the sealed pot, £150 added to sinking funds and £5 to the sabbatical as usual. It's a NSD for me as we are too busy for any spending.
I can totally see now why people go away for actual Christmas
Not sure if I will get a chance to post tomorrow so I would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas time, no matter how you spend it

Good morning, I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas break, no matter how you spent it. I'm back at work now for a few days to cover our department but I'm hoping it will be quiet as many people are still on leave.
Finances have been ticking along over the Christmas break, with the regular £5 to the sabbatical, which is the only payment I have made today. It will be a NSD for me though as I've no plans. It's the last one for December though as I am out for a meal.
I will try and update my signature later when I take a break as the totals are a bit higher (til I go on my next holiday)
Take care
LMD x
