  • Thank you @DigSunPap, I'm certainly saving a lot more these days!

Happy Friday everyone! I must say I am not a fan of storm Babet, the trees at the back of the garden are swaying a bit too much for me, and the dog refuses to spend more than 10 seconds outside before trying to get back to his bed.

Today may or may not be a NSD for me, hubby is still keen on doing going out one evening this weekend so who knows? I will leave declaration until later or perhaps tomorrow. I would prefer to go out on Sunday evening as it's not forecast to be belting it down with rain by then.

So, finance wise... accounts are all OK, I've sent £5 to the EF as my PAD and there's plenty left in the accounts for the week ahead til pay day. Sealed pot opening is Thursday but I also have an MRI scan at the hospital that day so there will be parking to pay for. Then when the scan is over I will cheer myself up by ordering the Christmas gifts I have listed in the very handy App @Debsnewbudget suggested.  Not frivolous spending either as it's all planned and budgeted for.

Anyway, I'd better get a shift on for work.

Have a great day, and weekends ahead!

  • Not a NSD as I have used some of my holiday fund to order sun cream, after sun and insect repellant today. Ordered from Boots though so cashback through Airtime rewards and boots advantage points...

We’re not going away next until April (Lanzarote) then Ibiza in July. Not sure how I’ll survive until April 🤣

We had been looking to book another in the Canaries in March but having inspected the decking in the garden we think next spring will be ‘garden overhaul’ time so it’s unlikely we will have spare time or funds unfortunately.

We are definitely kindred spirits when it comes to holidays 😂

  • Good morning and happy Monday :) We have had a busy weekend, and whilst Saturday was a NSD, yesterday was not, I picked up a few Christmas gifts and we had Sunday lunch out which made a change from me cooking.

I am popping out again after work today to get a few bits that were a bit too big for taking on the bus without damaging them. I should still be able to get to my NSD target before next Tuesday as I had such a great start to the month. My PAD today was £5 to the EF, will be topping that up on Thursday and then my daily PADs will go to the Sabbatical pot instead. I'm not sure if I will be PADding when on holiday this time... mainly because this is a whole new experience whereas I am usually going to the same places so there's less to take in :D

I had a couple of Prolific cash outs at the weekend, there's still £5.80 pending in there and I've also sold a dress on Vinted for £15 so I need to post that today too. I have quite a busy week this week, in work and out... I'll be ready for a rest at the weekend!

    Hope you're all well

  • Change of plan, we aren't heading into town later now so it's an unexpected NSD for me today :)

  • Good morning, sorry I'm late today but we have a pooch who is under the weather and we are trying to keep an eye on him today.  Hoping it's nothing serious but if he doesn't perk up throughout I think a trip to the vets may be in order tomorrow.  He's drinking and eating so that's a positive.

Today's PAD included £10 to the EF and £3.32 to teh sealed pot which includes the £2 Vinted sale. I posted the other one off yesterday so hopefully that'll be another £15 once received by the buyer.  Today will be a NSD.

I will update my signature now as it's been a while, I do need to try and get into the habit of doing it daily
