Sorry to hear you have a nasty cold. I always find them so much more frustrating when they come and its summer! It feels like we shouldnt get colds in the summer!! Although its not very summery outside today, we had a massive deludge of rain earlier!

Sorry to hear your cold is hanging on. Touch wood and fingers crossed, mine seems to have gone. Do you take vitamin C & D? Works well, and also a spoonful of natural local honey every day.  Hope you feel better soon. x

  • Hi everyone and thanks for the well-wishes, I do take vitamin supplements @Makingabobor2, quite a few to be honest but this feels like a particularly nasty bug.  I actually woke up feeling 'not as bad as yesterday' (I can't say I felt 'better' lol) so I hope I am over the worst of it now.

No spend day for me, not going anywhere feeling like this.  I sent the £3 to EF this morning and then I have also cashed £7.55 from Prolific so that has just been sent to the sealed pot. I'm set to have spare money at the end of this month which is good for 2 reasons. It's my little sister's birthday in August, and then I have the holiday 2 days before August pay day so I will need spending money saved up.  We also need to make the final payment for our November holiday on 10th August so next pay will need to be stretched out!

Off to make a coffee, will be glad when I can sleep properly again!

Hope you start to improve soon. Have you taken another covid test, just to be sure?  Sometimes it can take a few days before it shows up

Thanks, I did take another and it was still negative. Whatever it is, it's lingering on.

Another NSD on the cards for me today, with £3 sent to the EF as my PAD. The accounts are all nice and quiet at this time of the month, and I have another 7 days until pay day.

That's it from me for today

  • Afternoon, I've managed a £5.53 cash out from Prolific which I have sent over to the sealed pot.  Still £11 pending...

Hope you feel better soon. It’s really lingering I bet you’ve had enough.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Morning, I seemed to have slept better last night and my head feels less foggy today.

I was supposed to be away this weekend but I have cancelled it as hubby and I are away for a long weekend next week and I want to make sure I’m back to full health by then.

I’ve added £3 to the EF this morning as my PAD. It’s not a NSD today as I need to order some replacements make up. I’ve been putting it off for weeks but as we are away next weekend it will be needed 😂

Hope everyone is ok, I’ve not checked Prolific balance yet this morning so I’ll have a look at that next.
