  • Morning everyone, I hope you're all well? Another plodding day for me, I had a few drinks last night with my sister so it's a  good day to have nothing pressing.  I have had a chance to do a fair few surveys this morning and have £15 pending on Prolific, long may that continue!

My PAD today was £3 to the EF, I need to update my signature total (so lax at that!) it's a NSD today and should be now until Saturday. I am avoiding Prime Day offers as we really could use some home CCTV but I will leave hubby to do some research first and it can be his decision (then it can't be the wrong one! :D

    Have a good day all

  • Morning everyone, I was up early today but have been working since about 6:30 catching up on emails and such. Just stopping for a cuppa and a bit of breakfast so I thought I would do my budgeting too.

It's a NSD again for me, I've sent £3 to the EF and filled my £39 envelope for the challenge. I've popped an update on there that if people want to do the challenge virtually to keep their money safe and maybe earn a bit of interest they can do.

All ticking along here nicely, no more available to cash out on Prolific but still over £8 pending approval.

You could move your envelope balances into physical accounts LMD and still ‘stuff’ the envelopes virtually/electronically. Entirely up to you of course. I personally don’t like having cash around for a long time when there’s interest to be made….says the man with various pots crammed with coins for the Sealed Pot Challenge!

^^ This is what I have suggested on the thread. There have been some attempted break ins around our street so I am very conscious of the cash I have around, as well as the interest. I will give it some thought...

Today I have made a holiday payment but I am not classing this as spending so it's still a NSD for me. £1200 paid towards that...I'm sure the experience will be more than worth it. Plus £3 to the EF as standard :)

Not much going on finance wise, nothing available in Prolific yet but £13 pending. I'll keep an eye out for more surveys today.

    Have good days!

  • Happy Friday all, I hope you've all had a good week?  I am full of a cold at the moment and it's quite a bad one (even took a Covid test to check...) so much so that it may thwart our plans for going out tomorrow. We will see how I fare after another 30 hours of cold/flu remedies :D

It's another NSD for me, not venturing far from the sofa under a blanket today, it's helpful that I work from home and I have no calls scheduled today.  My PAD was £3 to the EF which continues to build nicely without me even noticing.

That's it from me today, I'll probably not be posting over the weekend again so enjoy your weekends ahead!

I can sympathise. I have managed to catch a stupid cold from somewhere as well, so far its not come out too bad, but sore throat, runny nose and cough. I also did a covid test, day before yesterday, to be sure. Might do another one just to be on safe side. They do say it can sometimes take a day or 2 to show up. I don't feel "ill" as such, just tired with it really.  Hope you feel better soon.

Seems a similar bug, I feel dreadful at the start and end of the day but seem to have a bit of a lift/reprieve in the middle of the day. I have a feeling this weekend will be sponsored by kleenex and lemsip *other brands are available* :D

I hope you're feeling better soon

  • Well hello everyone, short and sweet update from me today to say it's a NSD and I've filled an envelope and put £3 in the EF account.  I'm still very poorly with this cold, it's leaving me weak and tired :(

I have a busy work day today so hopefully that will take my mind off the snivelling mess that I am :D
