Well, I've enjoyed a lovely long weekend and the weather has been really lovely. It's also been a no spend weekend which is a bonus, and I didn't spend yesterday either! I'm off out tonight as usual, but I am driving so it will be low-spend anyway.

I've been PADding as usual, to the sabbatical, but not much else has been happening I've been enjoying family time and sorting stuff in the house and garden, the laundry basket is completely empty thanks to the hot weather too. I feel very 'Adulty' at the moment.

Counting down to pay day on Friday, although we have now decided the plans for DSD birthday so I need to book a hotel and some tickets to get that organised. There's also a concert we are planning to go to that we need to get the tickets for.

Lots happening, and I'm trying to balance the fun with frugality, or at least being sensible!

Thanks @lucielle - I hope I am, although I still have a voice inside my head urging me to err on the side of caution and be more frugal.

Today's a NSD for me, I'm away the next few days with DH for our anniversary which will be nice, but spendy. I PADded £66 to the £10k fund this morning from my dice rolls as well as the £5 to the sabbatical.

I have early calls today so I need to hop off to work, it's already melting and I can't take off any more clothes due to video calls 🤣

I hate complaining about good weather in the UK, but we do tend to go from one extreme to the blummin' other!

    Hope you're all OK

Morning all, I hope you're doing OK? I am enjoying the fact I have a nice short week and it's almost Friday already 😁 I am also getting excited that I only have 2 weeks on Wednesday (I can say that now it's Thursday) until my holiday - whoop!

Today will be a NSD for me, work is busy and my accounts are still recovering from me being spendy on my days off. I am cooking dinner this evening and it's one of my favourites so I won't be tempted to go out or order in.

My PAD consisted of £5 as usual to the sabbatical and £38 for the envelope challenge. I have no plans for the weekend as yet. It's race weekend so that's unlikely to change, hubby is working and I think DSD has a date.

I'm on book 47 at the moment, I've read some big, thick, heavy going ones lately so I need a run of shorter more lighthearted ones from my TBR stash.

    That's all from me today

Afternoon, I had issues with my internet this morning which sent me haywire and I was trying to sort that so I am late today.

Nothing really happening finance wise, the £5 to the sabbatical automatically went out this morning and I'm enjoying my 3rd NSD in a row. Still no plans for the weekend so I feel like my budget is safe this week 😁

    Have lovely days!

Good morning and happy Monday, I am super-tired today from watching the England game and can't wait for 5:30 to arrive. I had a nice weekend no spends on Saturday and yesterday I met a friend for lunch and coffee so spent about £20 from the weekly budget. Not bad really.

Today will be a NSD for me, I'm too tired to spend and all I want to do after work is go to bed 😂

My PAD this morning is just £5 to the sabbatical fund. Nothing else happening in the accounts at the moment. I finished book 47 yesterday and just need to select a new one to start at lunchtime. Another light hearted one is definitely on the cards!

I hope everyone is doing OK and that you had lovely weekends

I’m impressed that you stayed up for the football LMD. I woke up at 1 but when I saw it was delayed I went back to sleep!

It was definitely worth staying up for Ant, they played brilliantly in my opinion. At least the next on is on Saturday at a more reasonable hour.

This evening I am out as usual so it's not a NSD for me. I have no plans for the rest of the week except to take DSD to the airport on Friday morning. PAD as usual included £5 to the sabbatical.

I have been trying to research Budapest for our upcoming holiday, we have a day either side of the Grand Prix to sight-see and entertain ourselves but I'm finding it hard to narrow it down. I feel I am going to need a holiday to recover from this holiday! 😂

    Have fab days

Happy Friday all - we made it through another week, and it's a HOT ONE! Both the dog and myself have melted today, not even doing anything. We are both positioned as best we can be to benefit from the fan, but not touching each other haha.

PAD today is £5 to the sabbatical, and it's a NSD for me, I need t =o do the grocery shop later but that's essentials and doesn't count.

I finished book 48 last night, will be starting #49 shortly when I have my lunch. Is it acceptable to have ice-cream for lunch? 🤷‍♀️

Anyways… DH and I are off out tomorrow for food and drinks before the football, my social sinking fund will cover that. No plans for Sunday or Monday though.

Have lovely weekends, and stay hydrated!
