I think we are finally set for a bit of dry warm weather LMD, so your BBQ should be safe.

Yes I highly recommend Valencia. Very clean and the metro is very reliable and cheap. We were only there for 2 nights so didn’t get to see everything but I would definitely go back

Definitely somewhere to look into then, along with Barcelona, Vienna and Berlin - maybe long weekend city breaks will be a thing next year.

Just a quick check in today as not much is happening with the accounts, I've PADded £16 which was £11 to the envelope challenge and £5 to the sabbatical fund. It's a NSD for me today too, DH is out on a leaving do with work this afternoon/evening so I will probably catch up on some reading.

Work is still mental, so I'm off to experience the current joy that is my inbox

    LMD x

Good morning, I hope you all had a nice bank holiday weekend and didn't melt into puddles! We had to get the air-con unit out on Sunday just so we could sleep.

It's not a NSD for me today as I am off out tonight. I haven't decided if I'm driving yet or not so I don't know if it will be spendy yet. I've PADded £55 to savings this morning after sorting the accounts, £5 to the sabbatical, £32 to the envelope challenge and £18 to sinking funds.

It's pay day for me tomorrow so money will be moving all over in the morning as well as dice being rolled.

I am now on book 42 and I'm still enjoying reading, although I do get disappointed when I see a spelling error, the last one referred to someone using all their 'nowse' instead of nous (or nouse). When you consider how many people read a book before it gets published there isn't any excuse for mistakes really. Am I just being too picky?

Anyway, that's enough moaning from me, that's what happens when I'm too hot! 😂

    Much love

    LMD x

Hi all, sorry for being AWOL yesterday, we have a lot going off in real life and that needed my attention. It was pay day for me too yesterday so there was a lot going off.

Yesterday and today are NSDs and I don't have plans for the weekend so I may hit my target 20 after all this month, we will see. Yesterday I did the dice rolls and this morning I have filled envelope #12 for the 52 envelope challenge. I have 15 envelopes left to fill for that one.

No more reading done, I have been busy elsewhere. If I'm not online for a few days, know it's not intentional but I'm just buys with RL stuff

just catching up on your diary after being away on my holiday. It’s taken me a week to catch up on everything in RL and now I feel like another holiday. I took 2 books away with me, finished the first book in 2 days then started the 2nd book which was a new author to me. I just couldn’t get into it and after a couple of days gave up, then sulked the rest of the hols as I had nothing to read( was on a cruise so couldn’t go to a book shop). Made me laugh about the spelling mistake in the book, that’s exactly what my OH is like when he comes across one. Told him to get a job as a proof reader.

Forgot to add, whilst this total looks impressive, I have the remaining £1500 (ish) to pay next week for my September holiday so it won't last!
