Good work with increasing the overall savings LMD. Thanks Ant, I am definitely glad I changed my ways, that's for sure!
The weather seems bright and cheery this morning and that always makes me feel a little better. I have been awake since 5am as my brain wanted to get up before my body. I have a late night tonight too as I am off out. Will be a low spend though as I am driving.
My PAD today was £5 to the sabbatical fund, There will be some more tomorrow when I roll the dice for my challenge.
I did manage to finish book 45 yesterday and I have selected #46 which I will start in my lunch break. I also remembered to update my signature this morning, because I'm really good at forgetting that
That's all from me, have lovely days!

Hi guys, hope you're all having a good week
It was my day off yesterday but I was so busy running errands and dealing with life admin I am glad to be back at work today for a rest! It was a NSD yesterday though so that was a bonus, I'm out for dinner with friends tonight so it'll be spendy later.
Today's PAD was just the usual £5 to the sabbatical fund which continues to build in the background. Nothing else is happening in the accounts really, which I suppose in the grand scheme of things is a positiveYesterday's dice rolls took the sealed pot over the £7k mark, it's getting close to opening day and I'm already planning where to send the money. It will fund my holiday spends and our November shopping trip, as well as topping up sinking funds... depending on the hubby's health situation at that point it may either go to funding the shortfall or; if he's back at work, it can go towards travel for summer 2026.
Due to the busy day yesterday I didn't read any of my book at all, so I need to make sure I do today at lunchtime.
That's all from me in terms of updates today

Happy Friday! I had such a good night's sleep last night I feel wonderful this morning (so far!) Dinner out was great and we had a lovely catch up, my total spend was £30 so not bad at all really. Today I've sent £25 to the sealed pot and sinking funds as part of my PAD from left over budget.
It's a NSD for me today and I don't have any plans this weekend so it should be low or no spends. I do need to get some fuel but that's an essential so I don't count that
Hubby also went out last night to see one of his friends which made a change, he even got home later than I did (!) He's still struggling with his energy levels but I can't knock his persistence in trying to get stronger. I worry he might push himself too much, but he's the only one who understands his current limitations so all I can do is support when needed.
Book #46 is coming along nicely and I was hooked from the first few pages so I think this one will be done early next week. That's the thing about these kinds of books, they're so easy to read!
That's all from me today. I hope you all have good days and that you get a bit of sunshine wherever you are

That’s great news that your husband got out and about LMD. A good sign of mental positivity. Would be easy for him to get depressed.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 51

Good morning and happy Monday, this weekend passed in a blur! I hope you all had a nice weekend? I had a very low spend weekend where I only parted with £6 which was very restrained! DSD not so much, as it was pay day on Friday for her so she wanted to get some clothes for our holiday in a few months.
It's a NSD for me today, we have no plans and having already checked my work emails I have a lot to deal with today.
My PAD today included the £5 sabbatical payment and I have also filled my £19 envelope. In 3 more weeks (or sooner if I can) my envelope challenge will be complete! Almost 3 months early, which is brilliant really because I've only been 'stuffing' the extra ones from the surveys I completed this year.
I had predicted I would finish book #46 early this week, but I actually finished it on Saturday morning, then I read book #47 on Saturday and Sunday, and then started book #48 last night! It's been a lovely relaxed weekend as you can tell.
Hubby seems to be steadily improving and he is in discussion with work to see if he can do some work from home, which would be brilliant because it would be administrative rather than physical, but would give him a focus and he'd be earning again. I don't want him to rush it though, and he has a follow up at the hospital this time next week so it's not much longer to wait before we can get advice from the medical professionals.
I think that's about it in terms of my updates, have great days and enjoy the sunshine whilst it's still here

Morning
I's my fake Friday as I am on my day off tomorrow, although I watched Jamie Oliver last night talking about food which improves your sleep and then I've been awake most of the night...I think it may be a ploy to increase the sales of kiwi
Not a good time to have poor sleep as I am out late tonight.
So, not a NSD for me and my PAD was £5 to the sabbatical. Accounts are quiet for the time being, but there are some of hubby's expenses which will need to be covered in the next few days which i will use the sinking funds for.
That's all from me, short and sweet
Have fab days!

Happy Thursday, the sun has reappeared here in Yorkshire, it's typical that we had rain on my day off! I did have a good day though, a potter in town and around the market, I may have picked up a few books in the charity shops and spent time with family. Hubby had a good day too, he definitely seems to be getting a bit fitter week by week.
I added £38 to the sealed pot yesterday from my dice rolling and today I've cashed out from Prolific and filled my #32 envelope from that challenge, only 2 more to fill now and it will be complete. As per usual the £5 daily has been transferred to my sabbatical fund.
It's not a NSD for me today as I am meeting a friend for some lunch and a catch up, it won't be extravagant though and I should be having a no spend weekend as we have no plans for this one (ahead of party weekend next week for DSD).
That's all from me today, have lovely days

I just hope he doesn't try and do too much too soon.
Happy Friyay! Sunny here again and I have been working since 6:30am, so just stopped for a coffee. It's a NSD for me today and it should be the same over the weekend and into Monday. No plans until Tuesday evening.
My PAD today included £5 to the sabbatical and £44 to my sinking funds from left over budget. I will carry over any left over budget this week for DSD birthday celebrations next weekend.
Yesterday I finished my book and I started the next one in bed last night, this is book #49, so only 3 more after this one to complete my reading challenge.
I need to get back to work as Friday's are busy for me nowadays... Hope you're all doing OK?
