Thank you everyone, I appreciate all of your comments. Hubby is still in hospital but he is now stable, I won't go into details as it still makes me cry, as we very nearly lost him. It's a long road to recovery but we will get through it, whatever it takes.

That sounds more positive that he’s stable. I nearly lost my hubby to a brain tumour 12 years ago. He was in hospital for 9 months fighting for his life but he made it through.
