Forgot to mention we were in PDC less than 2 weeks ago. The weather was lovely although similar to how it was in the UK. We stayed at Aqua Suites near the casino for the first time and it was fantastic. Everyone had their own sun beds on the balcony or terrace, they put water in the fridge every day and the breakfast room was brilliant, something for everyone. The hotel staff were amazing and there was a pool bar that did beer for €2 and cocktails for €5. Will definitely be back, loved it.
Sounds fab! I’ll have to have a look at that hotel for next time. We are off to Fuerteventura in November though so it’ll be a while before we head back to PDC

Good morning, it's Monday again :(  I am off on Friday this week and it feels like it's a long way off! I planned it so that with the bank holiday I will have another 4 day weekend but I am starting to regret my choices now.

Today started off well, I logged on to work early as I needed to go and prepare tonight's dinner which is now in the slow cooker; cherry cola pulled pork :)  It will save me time this evening that's for certain.  I've stuffed my £42 envelope for the challenge and of course £5 has been sent to the sabbatical as per usual.

It's a NSD for me today, I will have to spend tomorrow though as I am out, and I need to order my dad's birthday present and an anniversary gift for my friend. Should be easy though as I know what I need to order. Both will be funded from my 'gifts' sinking pot so that's all good.

That's it from me, I have a pretty busy day from 10 with meetings and such, so that's why I planned to use the slow cooker today. Any way, I'm off back to work.

Good morning! I've been awake since forever this morning but I woke up naturally so I feel rather good... for the time being haha!

It's not a NSD today, out tonight and 2 gifts to be ordered (next task) but I have no plans after that until my day off, and now hubby won't be off with me so it's unlikely I will even go anywhere then. We will see.

Today's PAD was £5 to the sabbatical. nothing much else is going on with the accounts, although it's dice roll day tomorrow so we will see what gets added to the sealed pot there.

It's still a whole week until pay day, always on the count down.  I had a look at that hotel @Sun_Addict but I think hubby would complain that it's not beachfront as that's where we usually stay. I will still mention it as it does look nice!

In other news, book 23 is done and I will be starting book 24 today :)
    Have lovely days!

Another very early start for me today but I am glad to see the sun is back, with it being a bank holiday weekend I am assuming it'll disappear again by Friday.

Today I rolled the challenge dice and sent £115 to the sealed pot, the sabbatical has had it's usual £5.

Last night I was out but only spent a total of £15 so there should be spare budget to send to the EF on Friday, it's back to being a NSD today so I'm glad about that.

I'm really pleased I started the sinking funds rather than just having a cumulative saving account. It means that the money in there has it's own job to do and I can rationalise the spending of it.  Probably doesn't work for everyone but it's definitely working for me!

Well, I'm off for another busy day at work :) enjoy the sunshine!

Quick update today as I am already busy and have a long to do list, I need to get everything boxed off before being off tomorrow and Monday.

It's a NSD for me, I'm staying at home today... and then I've added £5 as usual to the sabbatical. There's plenty to be added to the EF tomorrow too so that's a bonus.

Happy Friday!! The start of a 4 day weekend for me and I've already got washing on the line in the sunshine. :)

I don't have any plans today, so it's a NSD. I will be mainly cleaning up and doing my hobbies, reading, crafting and gaming...F1 will be on at some point too! I also need to re-fill the bird feeder as it's being cleared quickly due to babies etc.

I had £72 left over from last weeks budget, as I only went out on the Tuesday so it was a good week! That's been added to the EF this morning as well as the £5 to the sabbatical.  New cash budget has been added to my purse this morning but it should be staying there for a few days yet. :)

That's all from me, have wonderful Fridays!

I hope everyone had nice bank holiday weekends, the weather was a bit on and off and we ended up getting a bit soggy and bedraggled on our walk yesterday. Never mind though, it was still pleasant :)

Today is pay day and I have been sorting the budget before work and moving money to where it needs to be, I've also paid another £50 overpayment to the mortgage.  My PAD included the £5 to the sabbatical, £90 to the sealed pot for the 1p challenge. I'm excited that my sabbatical is now past the £3k mark! Only 1/3 of what it needs to be in total but I'm excited none the less.  I've had to start a new tracker sheet for my colouring in :)

It's not a NSD for me as I am out tonight as usual.  I don't have any plans then until Friday, when it's my day off and I need to pop to the high street for some bits and bobs, and return my library books. I've just started ook 26 of the year, so I'm still doing well!

That's all from me in terms of news, hope you have nice Tuesdays!

I think I am only going to update it when I do the end of month review now, otherwise I will end up going in every day and it becomes a bit of a chore :)
