Back from another day in the office  :| My VR application has been scored and I'm privvy to all the scores - doesn't look good if I'm honest, so DH will be pleased.

That seems like a long day @bubbs and when you're used to him starting earlier it makes for a later tea. Food looks lush as always btw x

Well done @SingleSue and son - great stuff x

Had to smile at the office 'chat' taking a fair chunk of your team meeting @Jellybaby - too much faffing about in my office too. I heard all about someone's gig experience seeing Harry Styles - don't know the girl but she was mouthing off at one end of the office and is SO LOUD!!! Like I flipping care about Harry Styles!

    Food today has been:
B - overnight oats, mullerlight vanilla, frozen cherries - HEB, 0.5, free
L - LO chilli con carne, banana, grapes, pineapple - free
D - SW easy chicken curry from 50 golden great book - free
    HEA - milk
Syns - 0.5 plus a skinny bar so 3.5 total

Have just had a rant at DD as she is late yet again on her rent payment. Wouldn't mind but we pay her over half of it and she is working 30 hours/week at M&S and has her student loan. This is the 3rd month she's only paid £200 of the £520 and I've had a moany email from the rental agent as I'm her guarantor. I messaged her then rang, nothing. Then she messaged back so I rang again. She's round her boyfriends house. I really let rip. She's going to end up with a poor credit rating if she's not careful. Big brain, no common sense!

That's a shame about the VR coxy.

    Brilliant @SingleSue

Another day of not getting around till eating until just now, its not good for me I know but it is what it is

    Anyways WI today - 1.5 OFF  o:)

Really really pleased with that considering my poor eating

Wednesday night I usually have a big bag of crisps in between two slices of bread for my dinner/tea.  That would have always been my go to before SW and Ive kept it as my weigh in treat so I stopped at the shop on the way back and got a bag as normal, only found I didnt fancy them :)

What I did really fancy though was chip, cheese and curry sauce. So I had it - SW style. I had a small bit of curry left from yesterday ( with spinach ) so I cut a jacket potato into wedges, air fried, a tiny amount of cheese - HEA and thoroughly enjoyed it. Feel totally stuffed and not cheated :)

  • Evening all,

Some good losses this week, well done all. My WI is tomorrow, I seem to have more treat days than not these days so not entirely sure what the scales are going to say tomorrow??

I've 2 weeks left of my countdown now, as I only go along to weigh now I'm fairly certain I'm going to call it a day then. I shall still follow the plan, exercise and weigh once a week, but I really can't justify paying £30 every 6 weeks just to use the scales.

I'm really conscious that my bills are going up in September as I'll be supporting 2 through uni so trying to strengthen my finances as much as possible - I worry  more about money than I should!!

    Morning all,

    Great loss @Longwalker x

Good luck at WI @annabanana82 x I know where you are coming from - have spent the last year supporting 2 through uni and it's been crippling.

I need to weigh in on Saturday as they are now sending me emails and a longer message on the app! I am currently 2lb over target range (naked) so add at least 1lb for clothing. Not sure I'm going to make much of a dent in that before Saturday but we shall see. Really really don't want to have to pay again :(

    Food today:
    B - poached egg, grilled bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach - P, S
L - WM soft pitta, ham, cheese, lettuce, pickles, grapes, - HEB, P, HEA, S, free
    D - chilli prawn spaghetti - free
    HEA - milk
    Syns - skinny bar 3

    Have a good day all

    Morning all,

Well done to all the losers 👋😍

Reaching target and not paying is my motivation at the moment to keep me on plan!  With early retirement looming I'm looking to cut unnecessary costs where I can - although think DS2 might be with me a while yet the way mortgage rates (and everything else) are rising!

Taking some flexi due to meet up with my work friend for a much needed coffee and put the world, or at least work issues :), to rights.

    Today's food:
B - bacon roll (HEB), will probably have Americano with milk when out
L - tuna salad with pickles
D - chilli with rice and side salad

Hope everyone has a great day!
