@Jellybaby I would aim for end December rather than Christmas then you should get paid for the bank holidays! ย Thatโ€™s what I did๐Ÿ˜€.

Lol @beanielou and @bubbs, @Longwalker is right. Itโ€™s a cult classic and just bonkers. Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee and Britt Ekland (who gets her kit off). There were 6 of us in the cinema and 2 women walked out whilst BE danced around in the nuddy. Apparently it bombed when it was released in 1973 - canโ€™t imagine why ๐Ÿ˜Š

SIL has no hospital this week as staff are on leave. I havenโ€™t seen her since โ€˜the interventionโ€™ but Iโ€™ve texted her every week. BIL told me โ€˜no hard feelingsโ€™ when I saw him at the weekend. Apparently he didnโ€™t like me telling him what to do and thinks we are all overreacting (bad cops).ย

Meanwhile FIL and MIL are the good cops and have received a card thanking them for the love and support. Iโ€™m assuming SIL is gaining weight but do know that she hasnโ€™t yet been assigned a counsellor and is getting MH checks each week whilst BIL is in the room which hardly makes for a safe space to offload ๐Ÿ™„ Thanks for asking @beanielou x

It is pretty dire isnt it?

I remember seeing it the first time when I lived at home still, 35 or more years ago and thought what a load of carp. Then I watched it again a few years back and I thought I would get it - nope - still carp :)

I dont know what type of scale you have or how old they are but I thought the scale I had was pretty good but they arent

I did splash out ยฃ22 for a new set last week. Now these are the body ones, measure bone density, BMI, fat etc, possibly much more then you will want, but they also have automatic calibration , so no matter where I sit them, they calibrate themselves ( not carpet )ย

Before these and before paying for SW, I used to use the big scales in a chemist - a ยฃ1 I think, until I found out that my GP surgery had one in the corridor and they just give a token to use it free. Height, weight, BP, BMI - it does it all. Maybe your surgery has the same?
