    Morning all,

    Well done @canvascamper x

WFH again today and tonight we are heading into London tonight for a former colleagues' retirement do. She has booked some space at a pub in Blackfriars. I have no idea if there will be food. This makes for a difficult day for me as I have to WI tomorrow and DH has suggested we pop to Leon or similar en route to the pub. I could quite easily not go out(!) but she's a good friend of 30 years standing so I need to go.

    Food today:
B - 50g Sainsbobs high fibre bran, mullerlight vanilla, blueberries, strawberries - HEB, 0.5, S
    L - Cheese omelette, lettuce leaves, pickles - P, HEA, S
    D - who knows??
    HEA - milk
    Syns - lots

    Have a good day all
    Coxy

    Morning all,

Well done on the loss @canvascamper

Hope you enjoy the retirement do @Coxy11 I'd imagine there'd be food or at least nibbles?! - which is my danger zone when I'm out!  WI for me too tomorrow and despite being on plan not hopeful as I'm feeling quite bloated.

With mortgage rates rising again I may have DS2 here for a bit yet he's announced!  He has a good job that pays reasonably well and is saving hard but each time he thinks the time is right costs soar.

Another @bubbs inspired dinner for us tonight 😁

    Today's food:
    B - toast (HEB), banana
    L - lentil soup
D - chicken skewers, chips, salad

    Have a good day everyone!

    Afternoon all 🤗
Warning! Long post alert, need to off load 🥴 Feel free to scroll past 🤣

    Been a 💩 week!
Had complete mental/emotional breakdown at work & got sent home 🥺. Triggered by incident at work (confidential so won’t go into it). On top of hubby coming home with news of a death at the kidney centre, a colleague’s husband dying (short few weeks after diagnosis big C), grief from my sister’s death, my health issues, menopause weight gain/not being able to lose which effects back condition so in constant pain! It goes on (crying now 😢). Not being able to get appointments at Drs, !!!!!! hay fever, heat you name it 😭.
Reading about elderly parents illnesses & issues, wish mine had had the chance to at least get to this point 😭. Worrying about hubby’s health 🥺🥺! The list goes on (sorry).

Work - seriously thinking of jacking it in despite finances!

Anyway, son has started new hours/ position which seems to be going ok with hours but 💩 for working conditions/training (lack of!) His first weekend night shift everyone buggered off so he was only one on the floor! Even manager locked himself in office to sleep (?). He’s enjoying the 4 days off though.
Neighbour has free tomato plants going outside house so we now have 6 in a tub growing 🤗.
We have 1 full week at school then off on residential, looking forward to it just for the on suit bathroom 🤗. Bit stressful sorting dog sitter for dialysis day though! The day after we come back most of the Y6 go to high school transition day, my teacher is off with Y5 to Harry Potter studios and I have a well being day (my anniversary) so can catch up on sleep 🥴.  Then it’s countdown to end of term! I will be in Y5 in September as general TA instead of 1-1 which I’ve been for last 10 years, won’t know what to do with myself 🤗 (if I stay 🤔).

Last but not least have LOST 3LB THIS WEEK 😲👏👏 (4lb over 2 weeks) instead of playing tennis with 1lb 🥴. Finally! 🤞🏻 it doesn’t go on again 🥺.

Sorry for the out pouring 🥴

    Hi all,

Oh @TakeItEazy I was so sorry to read all the sad/bad news. I can understand you having to take off from work and hope that they are being supportive? It helps to offload so please feel free to do so here - we all get overwhelmed at times xx
Glad your DS has a new position but pretty poor for the lack of training. Great too about the tomato plants - we only have 2 as I'm the only one who eats them. Finally huge congratulations on the 3lb loss - that's amazing xx

I didn't go to group this morning. We didn't get in until 12.30pm and I woke up with the alarm at 7am with headache and the worst undereye bags ever - could have parked a bike in them. I did let the consultant know I wouldn't be in and also said that I'd been out last night, as sods law someone will tag me on Faceache.

I'm really not sure what happens now as today is exactly 8 weeks since I last weighed. I want to keep going to group because I've committed to the Social Team and I like the attendees plus it keeps me in check. I still need to lose about 3lb to be at top of target according to my home scales. Don't think that'll happen this week but we shall see.

The retirement do was lovely. Friend had hired a terrace bar overlooking the Thames. I stuck to GnT (slimline). We went to Leon en route and I had the squash salad. Some dressing in there but yoghurt based. There were nibbles at the party - I had two triangle sarnies (egg mayo/cheese and pickle) a single halloumi fry, a mac n cheese bonbon (no label so had no idea until I cut it open - thought it was falafel), and 6 steakcut chips.

    Food today:
    B - strawberries, mullerlight vanilla, granola - S, 0.5, 5
    L - 2 x crumpets, 2 tsp jam - 11(!)

Dinner is a BBQ at a friends' house. She is doing veggie skewers, salads, and some Turkish style meat. As I'm over syns already I will need to be careful. Luckily I don't go in for sauces so that saves syns there.

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Oh my goodness you are dealing with so much @TakeItEazy look after yourself. Could you take some time out of work to give yourself some breathing space?

I went to group this morning and wished I hadn’t! One pound on. I know it will come off eventually if I stick with it but so bloody demoralising after a good week.

No wine this weekend, gin instead 😄 see if that makes any difference 🤣
