Longwalker said:Crap weekend, worse one so far in my journeyIve posted how little Ive been eating, probably posting how much Im exercising on top offAnyways I had a shift at the coffee shop Saturday at 11, Park run at 9;30am so had to put a wriggle on - the morning after the night before. I had more then a few. So I got a PB but the cost was hugeGot in, a caramel slice shouted at me - you need the sugar and energy - swallowed nearly whole. Rushed into work, no time to make anything, starving, light headed, felt pants, nicked a sausage off the barbie then even more cakePulled it back a wee bit with a healthy full of speed pasta dish that night, but I was still looking sweet food, I took a spoonful of fudge cake toppingToday has followed the same vein, Ive been really good food wise , but Im searching out sugar. I dont have a sweet tooth as a rule, but right now you cant fill meI know its exhaustion and once I get some rest, proper rest, like Im barely sleeping either, this will pass but right now Im feeling like a huge sugar mountain and Im finding it so unsettlingIm thinking I might take a weeks holiday from SW but I also know if I do, Ill not be back
Suffice to say, Im really struggling today, at this minute. Hopefully tomorrow things will be better x

I used to be on the social team at a Saturday morning group and was glad when I stopped doing it.ETA:- just seen that the booklet was a summer success one.xxStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
Normally we might have thrown caution to the wind and had a slice but we are in focused mode this week, I have 1lb to go to get to my 4 and a half stone certificate and middle son has half a pound to his five and a half stone certificate and we want them desperately before going away at the end of this week.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Morning all,
Sorry for radio silence. Spent 2 hours taking gardening rubbish to the tip on Sunday as bookable local site now charges £10 a visit, so had to queue for one in neighbouring town - then did a load of gardening/planting up etc. Managed to give myself a nasty blister on my thumb and went over on my foot/ankle so feeling a bit sorry for myself!
In London yesterday - didn't have any food to take with me so purchased M&S orzo salad, banana, pineapple plus two skinny coffees. DH did slow cooked pulled pork last night which I had with SW chips. I'm still over target range!
I think you're right @bubbs - I will need to join again which is £17 odd I can't really spare right nowWell done to all the losers - funny to see how those who are stopping group seem to be doing so well flying solo. I clearly don't have the discipline..... Don't want to stop going as I like my consultant and the group, plus less than a year now to DS1's wedding so I need to keep on track.
Glad your DDad is drinking @bubbs x
Food today will be:
B - Poached egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach - P, S
L - Savoury rice, lettuce, tomatoes, brown sauce - free, S, 1
D - an adapted Tom Kerridge recipe - mascarpone chilli chicken with mini potatoes and broccoli - 2 syns
HEA - milk
HEB - skinny bar
Total syns - 3
Have a good day all

Morning all,
Sorry missed your loss @Abbafan1972 that was a fab amount!
We got told about the summer booklet last week in group @beanielou but theirs restrictions around who gets it?? from memory you have to be at target, slimmer of the week or month, bring a friend etc etc. Don't think I'll be seeing it any time soon 🤣
Yesterday's 5pm meeting finished at 7!! - and I'm supposed to finish at 4/4.30ish so that's a couple of hours flexi I've gained! The days of working late into the night and weekends to finish projects are long gone for me and January can't come quickly enough!
Today's food:
B - 45g bran flakes (HEB), yoghurt 0.5 syns, strawberries
L - tuna salad with pickles, nectarines to snack on - probably 1.5 syns for salad cream
D - gammon steak, baked potato, loads of roasted veg
Hope you all have a lovely day!0
