    Yes, that's the downside.
I once made the mistake of having a chinese the night before weigh in & had a huge gain.

Crap weekend, worse one so far in my journey

Ive posted how little Ive been eating, probably posting how much Im exercising on top off

Anyways I had a shift at the coffee shop Saturday at 11, Park run at 9;30am so had to put a wriggle on - the morning after the night before. I had more then a few. So I got a PB but the cost was huge

Got in, a caramel slice shouted at me - you need the sugar and energy - swallowed nearly whole.  Rushed into work, no time to make anything, starving, light headed, felt pants, nicked a sausage off the barbie then even more cake

Pulled it back a wee bit with a healthy full of speed pasta dish that night, but I was still looking sweet food, I took a spoonful of fudge cake topping

Today has followed the same vein, Ive been really good food wise , but Im searching out sugar. I dont have a sweet tooth as a rule, but right now you cant fill me

I know its exhaustion and once I get some rest, proper rest, like Im barely sleeping either, this will pass but right now Im feeling like a huge sugar mountain and Im finding it so unsettling

Im thinking I might take a weeks holiday from SW but I also know if I do, Ill not be back

Suffice to say, Im really struggling today, at this minute. Hopefully tomorrow things will be better x

@Longwalker sorry to hear you’re not feeling it at the moment.  So I got a PB but the cost was huge. Can I ask what PB is please?

I didn’t post about my weigh in on Friday morning - 3.5lb off. So was really pleased with that! I am hoping to get into the next bracket soon.

I hope everyone else is ok. Sending virtual hugs to those who need it today. xx

I think PB is Personal Best (as in PB time for Park Run) @Abbafan1972

Hi all, had a busy few days so not really caught up on the thread.  I had a day like that on Saturday @Lonwalker - being out of routine still is driving me insane and I really just ate whatever I wanted which tipped into Sunday where I was eating even though I wasn't hungry (can say the new McDonalds Choco Pie is amazing though 🤣)  Do I feel really bloated and uncomfortable, yes.  So trying to get back on it today.  Back at my parents house as more hospital appointments with my dad so will try and do some form of exercise this evening if I make it home (a run would be amazing right now).  No idea on food today (I'm thinking a lot of melon might be nice and refreshing) so just popping in to say I'm alive and sending support to those that need it.

    Aye, a Personal Best :)

Monday morning here again and feeling a tad more settled. I need to get into the kitchen and go through the fridge, freezer and cupboards and sort out a decent meal plan for the week, although I think I shall be on fruit , Ive a lot of fruit here going over so need to get that sorted and in my belly

I had a day of rest yesterday and intend to have a very lazy day today, hopefully get a nap in as well, I really am exhausted as well as dehydrated its no wonder the craving for sweet food all weekend

Also have a plan of getting a water bottle marked out so I know how much Im drinking. At the moment its not a lot, a coffee in the morning and then maybe a can of Diet Coke in the afternoon, definitely no where near enough fluids.

We're on the countdown to our holiday so we are being really good this week. It was oh so hard yesterday, we went for a walk (well a roll for me in the wheelchair), down to the local farm shop and cafe.

They had lemon cheesecake....I love lemon cheesecake.

We sat there and discussed said lemon cheesecake and the possibilities of having some, we even came up with a plan to get a slice and chop it into three (me and two of the boys), mused over possible syns, could we get away with it etc but in the end, the lemon cheesecake stayed in their fridge display and I just had a cup of tea.

I still want that lemon cheesecake.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
