Thanks @beanielou for the new thread. Love the new title!
Lovely to be called awesome though!
Won't be posting much over the next couple of weeks as off to Gambia early hours Friday morning - need to get up at 3am! Not sure I'm going to bother going to bed, LOL!
Have bookmarked the the thread for my return!

Thanks for the new thread @beanielou. You're a 🌟
Have a great holiday when it comes @joedenise. I envy you the sunshine. It's been tipping it down today. Not like at the weekend when it was glorious sunshine. We didn't mention that @joedenise and I met up on Saturday when she was visiting the New Forest. I can confirm that she isn't just an awesome target member but tiny too! 😁
For anyone reading who is thinking of trying Slimming World or tried it before but stopped and regained some pounds, do join the thread. You'd be very welcome whether you belong to a group or want to try going it alone.
We've been to see Alleluia today. A very thought provoking film. 🤔
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, fried eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- chicken stir fry (P, S), noodles (F)
Syns - 2.5 for honey in sauce2 -
Thanks @maman! Great meeting your and your DH on Saturday. I wouldn't call myself tiny although only being about 5" I suppose I am compared to your height! You look absolutely great too and another awesome target member.
Agree with your 2nd paragraph too - it's definitely worth joining the thread whether a current member, a lapsed member or just considering joining. The fact I can't get to group for quite a long time with various things going on including a couple of holidays over the next few months means I'm going to lose access to the website and app so this thread is going to be more important than ever.
Today hasn't been as on plan as I'd hoped so will pass on the menu plan other than to say breakfast and dinner were on plan with just 3 syns between them but went well over syns for lunch and DH also opened a bottle of wine tonight so also indulged! Will try and get back on plan properly tomorrow but just had a text from my DD1 to say that her and her partner are taking us and his parents out for a meal tomorrow night! Need to look at the menu but don't think it's likely to be SW friendly as it's a mezze restaurant!

Enjoy your meal Denise

Morning all! Thanks for the new thread @beanielou and I hope you managed to find a way of dealing with the chocolate cravings that wasn't eating an entire easter egg in one sitting (which I may or may not have done over the weekend...😉) In my defense it was star week and I did do an impromptu 10km walk with DH the day before.
Hope you enjoy your meal out tonight @joedenise - I went out for dinner with a couple of old work colleagues last night to Prezzo and went for their pumpkin and mushroom ravioli. Not sure on the syns but it was one of the lower calorie options on the menu (and quite tasty too!)
Currently at my parents house as have to take my dad for his biopsy this afternoon. Had a ff yogurt and an apple for breakfast and about 3 million cups of tea because that's how my mum copes with stress. Lunch will probably be a sandwich before we head off and I've seen a lot of salad bits in the fridge so will have some of that on the side. If I make it home for dinner tonight then I'll have a jacket potato with beans but if not then I'll concoct something out of what my folks have in.
Hope everyone has a good day - better get cracking on with some work.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20172 -
Good morning, thank you @beanielou for the fresh new thread, I hope that the lust for chocolate was not too damaging to your plan. Not a bit of chocolate has passed my lips over the holiday, but a Cheese scone and a few omelettes with cheddar in, which may have had too large a portion of cheese in.
The result of which, along with poor planning resulted in a 1lb gain at WI yesterday, not unexpected though. Much fruit, veg and salad bought yesterday in anticipation of the above.
@joedenise enjoy your meal, hope there is something tasty and suitable on the menu. @ruby_eskimo good that your mum has lovely salady bits for you, I do hope that the procedure is not too hard on your dad, and of course that the result is good and the wait not too protracted.

I am following along as a suggestion from @joedenise on my own diary. I am yet to begin as I have some meals out and chocolate still to disappear, but come Monday the new school term starts and so will my challenge on here. I have been a member of SW many times and been successful a few times. After a lot of things having gone on I think my head is finally in the right place to do this. Lots of lb's needing to go but I am mainly aiming to loose a stone by the summer holidaysMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/192

Hope all goes well at the hospital @ruby_eskimo. 🤗
Sorry to hear about your little gain @maddiemay but OK if you know why. Good to hear you've bought in what you need for the coming week. 👍
I used to love Easter eggs but now I find milk chocolate far too sweet. I know other eggs are available but not bothered any more. I thought about a hot cross bun but more interested in staying in target at the moment . 😇
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- JP (F), ham, cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- veggie chilli (P, S), brown rice (Fl

Found you all, thanks for the new thread @beanielou
Still to read back but hope everyone is having a good week so far. I'm having a bit of a stressful time - no, it's not parents or work for a change! - but have resisted wine and crisps the last few evenings even though that's all I can think about.
Today's plan:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, raspberries, strawberries
L - roll (HEB), cheese (HEX) with salad, apple and banana
D - chicken stir fry with chilli noodles
