  • Managed to maintain this week so relatively happy with that. Think I might try and put some effort in to get my 5.5st next week before calling time on it.

Well done on your maintain @annabanana82. What will you change up to get that new shiny next week? I am trying to drink more fluid - you'd think it would be easy in this heat but I was obviously a camel in a former life as never feel thirsty!

  • @Coxy11 more exercise as a start, cut out all the extra treats I've been having. Similar to you I need to drink more, I've never been a thirsty person and at school I'd often go from 8-4 without a drink and if it wasn't for my OH making cups of tea I'd be the exact same now

I was forced to retire this year, not a gun to my head situation , but injury and age is making it difficult to find work and I dont want to be jumping through hoops for UC or anything so I took my very very small pension and Im having a blast. How I found time to work I will never know so fingers crossed you get to go. sooner rather then later xxx

Jealous of all this retirement talk - that's a fair bit off for me but heyho!

Good luck with the increased exercise @annabanana82 in this heat (assuming your part of the country has the heat). I am now on my 3rd 750ml bottle of the day, plus have had tea and a single decent coffee. I really enjoyed my lunch of WM soft pitta - have a few packs rtc in the freezer - not sure why I don't think to have these more often.

I had to go post a Bay of E parcel at lunchtime and DH needed some more yoghurt (the full fat yummy kind  :o ) so I popped to Sainsbugs and got some High Fibre Bran cereal (basically own brand A!! Bran) which is 50g for a HEB. Will try this out tomorrow morning with some Mullerlight and fruit. Hoping it's not too twiggy tasting!

We are off to see The Wicker Man at the cinema tonight - 50th anniversary. Already feeling a bit creeped out!
