@Longwalker what type of scales did you get?
I need a new watch, have had several fitbits but they keep dying on me. I'm considering a Garmin next.
I tracked breakfast and lunch today but went to my sister's for a BBQ and just tried to keep sensible - Linda McCartney sausages and salad, but also prosecco and crisps.

Tomorrow is a new week and I will be laser focused! The scales I have are Renphro. They have a sale on at the moment . Now I know sod all about scales but what I like about this set - chargeable, recognises different users, whilst it doesn't pair with Apple or Garmin,it pairs with my fitness pal which in turn does. Im still getting used to the scales so I dont want to recommend then if you know what i mean . I like them and at just over £20,Im not losing sleep if they arent the dogs dangly bits1 -
Morning all. Welcome back everyone that's had lovely holidays - 9 weeks till our cruise!
@canvascamper I picked a spot in the bathroom to weigh myself (lining the scales up with the floor tiles) and just make sure I weigh in the same spot every week so I can be consistent. Is that my "real" weight? Who the hell knows but at least I can accurately track things going up or down week on week.
@Longwalker I chuck greens in things like a curry or a stir fry so DH doesn't have to deal with them and just eats them, with the flavors and textures of everything else masking them.
Managed to lose the 1lb I out on last week when I weighed on Saturday and then spent all weekend working on various gardens moving stuff, de-weeding etc. Was absolutely wrecked when I finished yesterday and looking forward to a nice bath this evening when I get home from the parents. Hoping we have some news from dad's specialists when we go to the hospital later on. Haven't had breakfast yet as wasn't feeling hungry when I woke up but might have some shredded wheat or just fruit. Lunch will be a salad of some description and dinner will probably be a carbonara when I get in as I know I have all the stuff in the fridge / freezer to make it.

Morning everyone,
Why does the weekend go in so quickly?! I could do with at least another two days off.
Welcome back @Coxy11
@Longwalker I like 'green stuff' so find it easy to incorporate loads and usually have spinach and shredded cabbage in salads, shredded brussel sprouts are good for coleslaw too. I also add a simple homemade dressing - white wine vinegar, lemon, lime or orange juice, salt and pepper and a pinch of sweetener all to taste and add that to broccoli, kale etc.
We've had heavy rain and thunder storm overnight and sky has gone dark with rain starting again as I'm typing. Forecast to brighten up late afternoon. WFH today and full on so don't mind too much and the rain is badly needed.
Today's plan:
B - yoghurt (0.5 syns), fresh fruit salad
L - leftover bolognaise bake with Parmesan (HEXA)
D - ham salad with new potatoes, boiled eggs, pickles
Have a good day all.0 -
Hi all,
Back on the wagon today. Yesterday started well with HEB of puffed wheat and HEA of skimmed milk, plus a banana. Dropped DDad at DSis’s and she’s made a Victoria sponge with cream and strawberries so rude not to try then went to ILs where there were quiches (no salad left or offered) plus another Victoria sponge. Could not make it up. Starving this morning when I woke up!
Today’s food:
B - overnight oats, Mullerlight vanilla, frozen cherries - HEB, 0.5
L - LO massaman curry, grapes - free
D - need to shop at lunchtime! Possibly steak and salad or pork chop and salad
Have a good day all
