STS at WI last night, not a bad result bearing in mind the difficult week I had. Today have been helping a relative doing a major sort out of the house belonging to another family member, all complicated, but not his fault that it needed to be done, worked really hard (although not nearly finished), did not drink or eat enough, definitely R&R this evening. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Morning all. Still lurking, was away Tuesday night in London for Harry Styles at Wembley Stadium.
Had a great time. We stayed over, as it was a long way to come back the same night. Have eaten too much of what I shouldn’t have, but I enjoyed it though.I hope everyone is well. xxStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
Morning all. Hope @bubbs and @maman have great trips.
Know how you feel @maddiemay - hope you manage to get it all sorted soon and look after yourself.
Good to hear you had a great time @Abbafan1972
Had a day in the office yesterday and didn't get to eat my lunch because I was so busy! Already been out for my walk this morning before it got too hot. Breakfast was ff yogurt and blueberries, lunch is going to be the salad I didn't eat yesterday and dinner is kimchi "fried" rice.
Hope everyone has a good day, stay hydrated!

STS is great @maddiemay especially after holidays or difficult times.
Syns are always worth it if you enjoy them @Abbafan1972 sounds like you had a great time
I'm always exhausted after being in the office @ruby_eskimo! I get excited about getting out and about during the day but finding appropriate office wear and having to 'people' is really tiring!
Didn't stick to food planned yesterday - didn't go off track just didn't eat much as it was too hot! Not often us Scots get this kind of weather so trying to enjoy it while it lasts.
I've finished most of the fruit and salad veg so today's food is all about using what's left . Breakfast was a sweet omelette with banana and f/f Greek yoghurt, tuna and whatever else I can find for lunch and dinner might be chilli from the freezer with rice.
Have a good day all and keep drinking!

The 'whatever else I can find for lunch' was coleslaw - homemade using the last quarter of a sweet heart cabbage, a wandering single carrot and red onion that were hiding at the back of a shelf instead of in the veg box! Feeling quite pleased with myself as there's enough for lunch tomorrow too.0

1/2 a pound off this week
Kind of feel cheated because believe me, Ive not sat down all week
But there again I went to the food show, ate chocolate , crisps, bread - tbh Ive not really been in the mood for SWStill I got my free Tray- mendous cook book, not looked at it yet but it looks tidy enoughOnce again Ive had yoghurt and fruit for brunch and tonight we are having HM egg fried rice which I believe is free and HM chicken and green pepper and black beans for which I have to syn sesame oil and cornflower - tablespoon of each and divide by the 6 portions - so barely any so in my eyes, pretty healthyIts not the heat so much that doing me in, its the dust. I live on the edge of a farm, hes digging out a field and transporting the soil to another field, one behind, one in front of my house. Two tractors and trailers been running 14 hrs a day for the past fortnight, the road has melted in the heat, the tar and stones are lifting completely and the track opposite me is now near enough non existent - just dust, House and cars covered, pets covered, we are covered, and just forget about getting the washing out. And now we have gorse fires to make life really interesting( not on good form here you might be able to tell )0 -

It is! @beanielou but knowing our weather we’ll probably be back to rain shortly so trying to make the most of it 😄
Well done on the loss @Longwalker it all adds up. Doesn’t sound like much fun with all the dust and dirt you have to contend with. Hope the farmer finishes soon and it settles down.0
