Breakfast - fruit and fibre (4), oat milk (hea)

Dinner - 2 protein thins (heb and 6) with vegan cheese (hea) tomato, cucumber, lettuce (s) and a tiny amount of jerk BBQ sauce so small I didn't bother syning.

    Tea - 5 bean chilli and rice (f, s), sweetcorn (f)

Snack - raspberry ice lolly (3)
    Unsecured debts total -

Well done on your loss @beanielou.👏👏👏 You're really chipping away. Surely you must be close to the next 7lbs off? 🤔

You've had a good day @canvascamper. 👍 Under syns, so clawing back from the weekend. Just for information, if you used baby sweetcorn (I like the crunch), then it would be Speed and I'd imagine some of your beans in the chilli would be Protein. IIRC it's only baked beans that are free.

It's a hard one @beanielou. 🤔 Have you been this weight before? Or have you been a lower target? You still seem to be losing which is unusual if you're already close IYSWIM.

Well done on your loss @beanielou xx

@ruby_eskimo. Did he get the drain out?

Ive totally lost the plot , I started couch to 5k today - on top of 6 miles of walking - in this heat :) I seriously need my head felt for bumps :)

Food wise I had my yoghurt and a pile of fruit with oat bran and a tablespoon of the granola for brunch That really lifted it, the crunch and texture was welcomed

I couldn't face dinner - was too white lol so I had two scrambled eggs , a tin of sardines, chillies and raw onions, two dairylea lights and two wholemeal pittas . So over on the syns  for the pitta- Ive had a few drinks - but all rest is free/protein/heA/speed

Ive decided that whilst I shall try to stick to plan Im not going to beat myself up over it . As long as Im eating protein and fruit and veg as the bulk of intake, going a bit of plan with the HEB isnt going to kill me

    Morning all.

Well done on the loss @beanielou - I think I also find it easier to lose in the warmer months because the heat makes me want to eat less but then I do swell up from time to time if it's too hot.

I was out at 5am this morning @Longwalker to get a run in before it got too hot, but gave up 5 minutes in and just walked the 5K instead because it was still very warm!

Dad still has the drain in because they thought it would have finished draining by now but it's not.  And they haven't heard back from the specialist so they want to see him in clinic every Monday till he gets seen by the specialist, which isn't scheduled till the end of August (when I'm supposed to be on a ship between Rotterdam and Norway).  So we'll wait and see what happens but looks like I'll be spending my Sunday evenings driving back home.

Ended up going to Nandos for dinner last night as DH wanted to treat me and he fancied chicken.  Also may have had a chocolate brownie while there...  So breakfast today was ff yogurt, blueberries and a sprinkle of granola after my walk.  Lunch is going to be a salad bowl and dinner is some kimchi "fried" rice, full of veggies that need using up too.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning all,

Fab loss @beanielou you must be close to your new target by now?

It's still really warm here, forecast until Saturday then rain and thundery showers due next week.

The skewers were from Iceland @maman and were just OK I'd say.  Much prefer my own! We tried the salt and pepper and sweet chilli versions and they were hot, not spicy or tasty just hot and some of the chicken seemed to be a bit wet. Sorry not selling these at all!  People were raving about them in group but everyone's taste is different and might just be us.

    Today's food:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt and huge fruit salad
L - smoked ham sandwich (HEB), salad and pickles
D - too hot to cook so probably another salad of some description

Will use some syns for salad cream but apart from that think it will just be lots of water today.

    Have a good day all.

@ruby_eskimo, sorry to hear dads drain is still in, they can be in for a long time , which can then cause further problems with infections so hopefully it clears up soon

Bet you enjoyed your Nando's - something Ive never had. Chicken is surely the healthiest eat out option so you chose wisely, we wont worry about a wee brownie

@Jellybaby, those the SW skewers? I live in a farming community - no take outs etc - we all scratch cook, and they haven't gone down too well in my group. Our consultant has a hard time trying to flog SW products and recommendations to our group, she does a lot better at the town group on Saturdays :) The other week she was raving about some jar of tomato sauce that was 1 syn a jar and we are like tomatoes are free why would you use a jar? lol. We have a butchers who does slimming world packs and he does proper skewers with huge chunks of real chicken ( not processed ) for 1 syn each - one would fill me.

Its another scorcher here today so not hungry as usual. Lunch will be my normal fruit and yoghurt and tea tonight is going to be a skinny burger and wedges ( HM/air fried ) and salad and grilled mushroom and pepper. I dont take the bap so a very healthy SW friendly tea .

    @Jellybaby, those the SW skewers?
No, Iceland own brand and think 1 syn each but won't bother with them again. Our consultant mentions SW products but always says the recipe is on the website so you can make yourself.  I cook mostly from scratch too, much tastier and better on the wallet.
