    Morning all.

Well done on the loss @Longwalker - we all need a sod it week from time to time!

Making memories is better than just focusing on what you should and shouldn't eat all the time @canvascamper - hope you had a lovely time.

Not me taking early retirement @beanielou - I wish though 🤣

Hope your dad manages to put on some weight in the home @bubbs

My dad is still in but they were saying he should be out by the weekend if they can get an agreed plan from his specialist in London that he's never met.  So he might be coming out with the drain or he might not.  However it's been slightly complicated by the fact they've drained the cyst completely and now can't work out on any of the scans where it is 🤣🙄🤣  He's ok in himself but one of the guys in his bay went home yesterday so he was a little down because they got on so well.

Yesterday was a bit all over the place food wise - my mum isn't very MSE with reducing food waste so I was eating a few things yesterday evening to stop her from throwing it away!  Today I'm not feeling too hungry so breakfast will be later and then just a fruit salad.  Lunch will probably be another salad and dinner I have no idea.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning ☺️ gosh I'm tired, I was really looking forward to sleeping in my own bed after camping...my youngest had earache in the night and I ended up in his bed whilst he starfished all over me.

Did my first weigh-in this morning. Gained 400g (0.8lbs). Turns out wedding+camping+still learning how to do this properly has not entirely paid off. It's just week one though. Onwards!

It's me retiring early @beanilou 28 weeks and counting 🤣

Hope your dad gets home soon @ruby_eskimo

A pound off is fab especially after a sod it week @Longwalker we all have them!

Haven't had time to read back, WFH today and facing a two hour Teams call so apologies if I've missed anyone.

    Today's food:
    B - yoghurt (0.5 syns) and fruit
L - tuna sandwich (HEB) with salad and pickles
D - homemade meatballs with spaghetti and parmesan (HEXA)

    Have a good day all.

Snap! We're having exactly the same dinner tonight @Jellybaby. 😋

You did raise a smile @ruby_eskimo. The idea of you eating things hurriedly before they go out of date like some sort of Cinderella! 👠🤣 Hope your dad gets home soon, I can see he'd be fed up seeing others leave. ☹️

Well done on your pound @Longwalker. It was probably owed to you from sticking to plan previously. 🤞, you find enough healthy food in the books to please you.

Good to see you posting again @canvascamper. I think that was a tiny gain after your break. Now you're home you can get back in control again. 😊

I need to do my meal plan and shopping list for the next few days. We go away on Wednesday next for 3 weeks so don't want to leave anything fresh.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
    L- veggie omelette (P, S, F), beetroot (S)
D- HM meatballs in tomato sauce (P, S), spaghetti (F), HEA 2 Parmesan
    Syns - 0

    Evening all

    Well done longwalker 👏👏

Ruby hope your dad gets home soon x

That gain is nothing canvascamper, i'll be happy if i only put that on being away next week, but very much doubt it 🤣🤣

I saw Dad today OMG he looks different man from last weekend, i was really shocked how thin and frail he looks 😥 I did get him to drink a glass of water, i kept saying a little drop more then i will tell Mum you have drank it all and she will be proud of you, he gives you a little smile 😍
He had a dish of melon and grapes there and i persuaded him to eat those, i can't i haven't got a fork he said 😂 i said you can eat with your fingers, but he was adamant he wanted a fork, the carer said it's fine , i'll get him a fork, but then of course we was playing chase the grape round the dish 🤣 but he did eat them 👏👏

Then lunch came he had beef in gravy , veg and roast potatoes, i don't want that he shouts pushing it away, i said let me cut the meat for you, NO! it's ok i can do it , he was tucking in when i left 🤣

Breakfast I had 2 boiled eggs and a banana on the go
    Lunch
I might count as hexb , or might make something nice for pudding if not 4 syns (5 is hexb) half hexa
    Tea
Sweet jacket potato, with prawn "cocktail" on top, I used 2 syns lighter than light mayo, dollop fat free Greek yogurt and lemon juice, sprinkled paprika on the top, salad

Beanie i could not believe the difference since Saturday. Mum said 2 carers walked him back to his room yesterday and its no more than a few yards and he was worn out then slept half the time she was there 😪

Hopefully his confusion will settle down in a couple of days and he gets a bit of strength back 🤞🤞🤞
