I had c-sections with my children so was in hospital a little longer than others, but I had to bath my babies in hospital prior to coming home.

I know the midwifes and health visitors were pushing not bathing your baby every day due to causing skin complaints but two weeks seems a bit odd

    Morning all,

Sorry for the lack of posting.

Good to hear DDad is moving to the home today @bubbs x
Hope that your DDad is doing okay @ruby_eskimo and well done on the 1lb loss x
Well done on your loss too @Abbafan1972 - whatever works for you x
It's tricky when certain foods don't agree with you or float your boat @Longwalker and @SingleSue - hopefully you can adapt the plan to suit your likes/tolerances x
Well done on your loss @beanielou x
Sorry if I've missed anyone - have just read through a few pages all at once.

I went to group on Saturday - relief consultant - she uses her phone to link to the sum up machine. My pay buddy has had an op so wasn't there. Was a bit stressful and lots of folk buying the CD and some also buying vouchers. I'm now not there for 2 weeks as we go on holiday with DDad on Saturday for a week. I will weigh on the next Saturday I'm back.

My cough/sore throat is all but gone but I haven't been able to taste or smell since Saturday. I've tested for Covid (twice) and negative, so just a bad cold. It's our anniversary tomorrow night and we've booked a Thai restaurant which I won't be able to taste :(

I last texted SIL on Friday. She is back to the eating disorder clinic today. FIL is going to drop them as BIL got a ticket last week. Still no contact from him - probably still sulking - idiot!

    Food today:
    B - strawberries, grapes, mullerlight vanilla, Weetabix choc melts - S, F, 0.5, HEB
    L - poached egg, grilled bacon, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes - P, S
D - beef and mushroom stroganoff with rice - think this is free but need to check recipe
    HEA - milk
Syns - skinny bar 3, plus 0.5 plus possibly some for the stroganoff??

    Morning everyone,

It's another dull, windy day here and I feel really tired this morning.  Think it's just a combo of getting back to work, dealing with parent tantrums and the menopause!

    Food today:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, strawberries, mango, Skinny syrup (0.5 yns)
L - New York style sandwich (HEB), pastrami, cheese (HEXA), mustard (0.5), gherkins, with salad on side
D - chicken curry with rice
Other HEXA - milk in coffee. Plenty syns left if I want anything after dinner.

    Have a good day all!

That's a shame @Jellybaby. It's still lovely and sunny here. I don't suppose the weather is doing much for your mood either. Good to see you are in control of your meals. Eyes on the prize! 👍

Sorry to hear you're not able to taste anything @Coxy11. Could it be blocked sinuses after the cold? 🤔 Happy Anniversary for tomorrow. 🍾

I'm having easy dinners today and tomorrow as have dance classes so a bit pushed for time.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, eggs (P)
    L- cold meats (P), bubble and squeak (F, S), pickles (S)
    D- veggie chilli (P, S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
    Syns - 0

    Hi all.

Just a little bit of light-heartedness. There’s a Facebook page called two chubby cubs and they have recipe books, but post some hilarious stuff. They do tongue in cheek make fun of some of the SW ways. They have just re-shared this video they made a while back and it’s really funny!

Hopefully everyone can view (you might need to be on Facebook).

    xx

    Morning everyone,

Dull here atm - hope it brightens up as DH and I are getting the train to another town for dinner tonight. I am such a cheap date - I guess better than catching a bus lol!

Yes @maman could be sinuses - I had to take some paracetamol yesterday as head as was sore too. Still no taste or smell. DH said the beef and mushroom stroganoff was lush, plus he used chilli pickled gherkins so it had an extra kick - DID IT??!!! Had a nice walk with a friend last night.

WFH today and only have to sort breakfast and lunch.

B - Weetabix choc melts, FF nat yog, strawberries - HEB, free, S
    L - cheese omelette, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, pickles - HEA, P, S
    D - Thai meal - syns
    HEA - milk

    Have a good day all
