@bubbs I will need to lose another 3 stone or so to get to where I was originally at target.

I am not looking that far ahead at the moment, but trying to break into the next stone bracket at the moment.Β

Will be going for a walk very shortly.Β

    Hello ladies :)

Sorry not been about for a while so have had a good few pages to catch up on

And forgive me if I just say, to all you ladies who are dealing with elderly parents , their health, their little ways - huge hugs to you all. You all do amazing jobs. As mums carer I do understand its not easy

For those of you who have been poorly recently, hope you are all feeling better .

Please dont think cos Ive "lumped" you all together I dont care or Im paying lip service, I do care and Im not. Just going back and forth on so many pages to get the right names is just beyond me right now

Ive had a crappy week SW wise - stayed the same :(Β

Sensible head says it happens, dont worry, it will come. However we all know that knowing that doesn't help at the time, I was really disappointedΒ

Especially as my exercise has near enough doubled over the same time. Im doing park run now ( ok - Park WALK, Im built for comfort not speed ) and am doing the 100 skip challenge for cancer research. Thats on top of two dog walks a day plus a 5k at Least every day

Its so hot here. Here being Northern Ireland, bikini weather is 18oC, we are reaching 25oC and humidity in the high 90's so its really actually bloody miserable making lol. Doing a 5k in that humidity was a killer, my slowest this year and I thought I might have had to retire half way

Im struggling to get food in me. I dont like so much food and whilst I have been so good and forced myself to get the veg in me, Ive sickened myself and I can barely face anything now

At the moment Im living on HM yoghurt ( skimmed milk ) with oat bran and fruit around 2 pm and then Ive been eating maybe a serving of couscous with some chopped salad and half a tin of mackerel or a slice of turkeyΒ

In desperation Ive started to buy those wee pots of fruit - 3 packs in lidl - to help me get fruit into me. Expensive but its all chopped up for me, I dont have to think about it, just tip it in the bowl and Im still coping with rocket and lettuce, cucumber and beetroot and peppers - although I think beetroot is on its way out, beginning to struggle with thatΒ

Cant face eggs now unless scrambledΒ

Struggling is the understatement of the year. Mind I paid for the 10 weeks, Im not at the F - it stage yet

Im going to have to go through the books again and work out what I dont have a complete aversion to and see what I can come up withΒ

Tonight I had a salad of the ingredients I do like, plus grilled mushroom and peppers and a skinny burger - they are pretty darn good tbh. Was supposed to have been a BBQ but too hot outside - Im a mess of prickly heat

    Morning all,

Woke up to a dull, quite cold windy day here. Feeling it all the more after the heat of the last week but hopefully it will brighten - and warm - up especially as I've three loads of bedding on the line :)

I feel your frustration @Longwalker but keep plodding as Beanie says. It's frustrating and disappointing but a stay the same is better than a gain and it will come off. Bloody annoying all the same.Β  Try putting the food you do like into the recipe section on the app or website, it will bring up a range of recipes and something might just tickle your fancy.

Managed to get a chilli, bolognaise and chicken curry made yesterday so all portioned up and in the freezer.Β

    Today's plan:
    B - f/f Greek yoghurt, strawberries
L - baked potato with chilli, salad
D - salmon, new potatoes, broccoli, carrots, green beansΒ

Still have HEB and second HEA if I'm hungry at any point.-Β  Have a good day all.

    Welcome @canvascamper

I hope everyone is well. I am here lurking about lol.Β

Hope everyone’s families are well. I can sympathise with the issues people are having with banks and branches closing and the increase in them wanting us to do stuff online. I do worry about my parents and helping them deal with their financial affairs as they get older (they are in their mid 70’s). I have tried to get them to start internet banking, but have always been met with a flat refusal. The reason being that β€œinternet banking isn’t secure”, so have just gave up with it. My Mom today had Β£80 to give my daughter and asked me if I could do an electronic transfer from her account to my daughters, I said no because you’re not registered for internet banking, lol. I give up! She gave me the cash and I will just pay it into her account.Β

Back on topic:- I am not going back to my SW group and not following the plan but doing something different and weighing at home on a Friday morning and I have lost in the 1st week. (It’s not anything dodgy), I won’t go into detail, as this is an SW thread and don’t want to post negativity about the groups or the plan itself, but I have my reasons for my decision.Β

I will still be around lurking to see how you all are getting on.Β

Take care and speak soon. xx
I don't follow SW as I should, I've adapted it to suit my weird and wonderful body as otherwise I would have gained rather than lost.

Middle son is calorie counting and just using the weigh in to keep on the straight and narrow.

We never stay to group, just weigh and go.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Hope you enjoyed Mr Whippy @annabanana82. 😁🍦

One of the reasons SW works for me is that the 105 syns a week is an easy guide to how many treats we should have in a balanced diet. I'm not saying it's easy but I think it's worth it.

I do hope they get your dad's infection under control very soon @bubbs. It's obviously a bit of the delirium, that comes with infection, talking about the tools. I feel for your mum, it must be so hard for her. πŸ€—
As with all my dieting experience, I can go nowhere near the 'allowed' syns per day or week. Even when I had a higher allowance of syns, I couldn't do any more than 5 or 6 a day and still lose.

It's always been the way, when calorie counting I couldn't start off at the higher amount and drop down, it had to be the level usually set for the last few pounds, at Weight Watchers, it was the points set for the end of the journey rather than the start and so on. I also have to restrict things like pasta and potatoes, they are not unlimited for me.
