You're really getting the hang of SW @canvascamper. 😁 I can understand you being busy and not eating enough. What matters is that you don't just grab something to fill you up which is full of syns. You did well to get stuff in M&S where you can be sure of the syn values.

Do your best while you're camping. Holidays and eating out are two of the most difficult times for losing weight, but there's never a good time. Best thing is to get back on plan as soon as you can.Β

I called into our surgery with a prescription today too @annabanana82. They have a shiny new machine, a bit like the ones in Boots which measure weight, height and BMI. Next time I go to WI, I'm going to call in and see how it compares with SW scales.Β

Good luck for WI tomorrow @bubbs and @Coxy11. 🀞

Glad to hear you're feeling better @beanielou. Still no @Longwalker?? πŸ€”

Is that because of the dogs? I know you said you never lose when you have them. πŸ€”πŸ˜

Hi folks, well I was well chuffed with only a pound gain after my holidays this morning. Happy I started back on plan straight away and not left it like I was thinking of doing.

Bought the 12 week countdown and really hoping this will get me to almost touching target. Think I get a cookbook with it too.

Absolutely scorching here in Central Scotland but I’m not complaining, this weekend is likely to be our summer 🀣

I had a banana and coffee in group then salmon flakes and salad for lunch. Lasagne and more salad for tea. DS2 is out again but thought I’d make an effort tonight - and have weekend wine tooπŸ˜‰

It’s too hot to batch cook today so that’s tomorrows job or even during the week.

You've done brilliantly to just gain a pound after your holiday and all the socialising with your son. πŸ‘Enjoy your wine tonight, I'll be joining you.Β

    Glorious day here too. β™₯️🌞

I made my lunchtime omelette with LO roast veg and it was very tasty. πŸ˜‹

    Welcome @canvascamper

I hope everyone is well. I am here lurking about lol.Β

Hope everyone’s families are well. I can sympathise with the issues people are having with banks and branches closing and the increase in them wanting us to do stuff online. I do worry about my parents and helping them deal with their financial affairs as they get older (they are in their mid 70’s). I have tried to get them to start internet banking, but have always been met with a flat refusal. The reason being that β€œinternet banking isn’t secure”, so have just gave up with it. My Mom today had Β£80 to give my daughter and asked me if I could do an electronic transfer from her account to my daughters, I said no because you’re not registered for internet banking, lol. I give up! She gave me the cash and I will just pay it into her account.Β

Back on topic:- I am not going back to my SW group and not following the plan but doing something different and weighing at home on a Friday morning and I have lost in the 1st week. (It’s not anything dodgy), I won’t go into detail, as this is an SW thread and don’t want to post negativity about the groups or the plan itself, but I have my reasons for my decision.Β

I will still be around lurking to see how you all are getting on.Β

Take care and speak soon. xx

Really pleased for you getting a loss @Abbafan1972. Whatever you're doing has motivated you! πŸ‘

I think we've all had our issues with SW, both the plan and some consultants. What I was curious about was what you found restrictive. I chose SW (the only 'diet' I've ever done) precisely because I can eat as much as I like. 😁
