    Hi all,

@longwalker seriously strong cheddar spread is hex a and melts well for a cheese sauce.

Had a lovely few hours out in the sun, ate badly so just fruit for me for the rest of the day.

B: overnight oats, blueberries and strawberries 1/2 hex b.

L: jumbo hot dog, onions and ketchup, a small 99 ice cream. No idea on syns, but I'm not too fussed today. The sausage was umm cheap and tasted cheaper, but it was the white bread roll that felt like a treat today.

    @maman, I did say enough for a hotel :)

Still its all washed now, if not dry, been too cold all day. Went out for a walk this evening and we froze, never completed two miles as quick I dont think - seriously baltic. Tomorrow the iron comes out - luckily I have a press so should whizz through it all

@annabanana82, thanks for the heads up re the cheese sauce. For me a dinner has to look really busy, colourful, exciting before I feel like eating it. Now the Gammon was absolutely beautiful, yep it was the good stuff the supermarkets were selling Christmas and easter, but on a plate with air fried roasties, carrots, parsnips, peas and broccoli - nope not for me, not if Ive a choice and now I have the best excuse in the world - on a diet :)   So I took a good walk and came home and mixed up some couscous with some Indian spices,  and a salad of rocket, peppers, beetroot , cucumber , for me much more appetising

I do have a lot of issues about food I've got to be honest. These past two years, since lockdown , Ive really struggled - hence the living on bread mostly.

Horses (or pigs 😉) for courses @bubbs. I'm not that fussed about any sweets. I've still got a box of cherry liqueurs left from Christmas. If I'm in target on Thursday, I may start eating them.

Don’t think of SW as a diet @Longwalker. It's healthy eating and your salad with the gammon sounds great. If you prefer that to cooked veg then just enjoy! Shame it's so cold where you are but well done for getting out for your walk. 👍

    Morning all,

I was up early yesterday as DDad and I went to a boot fair. We had to queue for 20 minutes to get in - bet local residents love that - not! Got a couple of bits for my charity fundraising. We then went to Brighton to see DD. Had lunch in a pub - I had the roast beef so some syns for gravy - but it was lush. DDad paid(!) but we still ended up spending over £100 - parking (£30!), a round of drinks (5 x beer, 1 x diet coke - £33!), ice creams (I had coffee!) and a small top up shop in Co-op en route home. Back on plan today.

    Food will be:
    B - strawberries, granola, mullerlight vanilla - S, HEB, 0.5
    L - cheese and tomato omelette - HEA, S, P
D - SW easy chicken curry and rice - free
    HEA - milk
    Syns - skinny bar 3, 0.5 = 3.5 total

Hope your DDad has had a better more settled night @bubbs, such a worry for you all. I too would have had a Belgian bun and probably a lot more besides x
Gosh @Longwalker that is a lot of bedding - great to have a sort out though. I must do the same as we have a lot of single bed sets and only one single bed now.
My Mum has just been advised to have her cataracts done @joedenise - she's in S'bourne and has been told it's a 6 month timeframe. She's NHS though so not sure if you have private medical care and will be seen quicker.

    Have a good day all
