Hi all,Its been a few days since my last check in. The weather is gorgeous here this weekend. Hoping it lasts another day as we're having a family day out tomorrow at a vintage steam rally. After being stuck in a rut for awhile and doing very little it's nice to have a few things booked in.
Another family day out to the zoo next weekend followed by a trip to Thorpe Park - going to be different as I don't do spinny or upside down rides, the hubby should be doing very few due to his dodgy ticker. But the children will enjoy it.
My DD has just had her first break up, I thought it was going to be hard but she seems okay so far. Sounds like it never really got past the friend zone so I'm hoping they stay friends.
Managed a rather slow 2 mile run today, may as well have walked but hoping to repeat a little quicker tomorrow.
Food for today
B: overnight oats 1/2 hex b, blueberries and strawberries free
L: ryvita crackers 1/2 hex b, light laughing cow triangles hex a. Pickled onions, beetroot, cucumber and tomatoes 1.5synsSweet potato curry free.
Been pinching humbugs today so that's been 8 syns so no more today.

Hi everyone, not had a chance to catch up on posts yet and there’s so much to read 😁
Another wee gain this morning - 0.5lb. Like last week, I’m absolutely delighted as it should be much, much more! Will need to be careful it doesn’t catch up with me but as we’re off to Seville tomorrow for a few days it will have to wait 🤣🤣. Meeting up with my brother and SIL and DS1 is catching up with an old work colleague and scoping out an idea 😉
I bought the magazine in class to read on the plane 😇 In fairness, I think the gains are alcohol related as we tend to eat SW style anyway - maybe it’s a different group I should be attending 😜🤣
Hope you’re all well and enjoying the sunshine (even here in Scotland the weather has been fab!)

You've done well to lose 1.5lbs @SingleSue👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.
That's a good weekly average if you can achieve that. Sorry to hear that your health has been poor this week but good that your doctors are taking it seriously. I had to smile when you said they tried a phone appointment when you couldn't speak! 🤣
You're being very industrious @Longwalker, clearing out unused stuff. I think we could all take a leaf from that book. If you don't cook on a Saturday, does everyone fend for themselves or someone else take over? 🤔 If it's the latter then I hope they've asked you what would suit.
Seville is really super @Jellybaby, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I liked the mosaics at the Place d'Espagne but there's so much else to see and do. Half a pound on is amazing considering all the socialising you've been doing.
It's lovely here today as well @annabanana82 so really hope it lasts for your day out. I've changed the bed but hoping it'll stay fine as I plan to do the washing tomorrow @joedenise.
We're at the theatre tonight but will eat before we go. I'm not sure how that will affect syns. I may have an ice cream but wine syns are likely to be reduced.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- bubble & squeak (F,S), egg (P), pickles (S)
D- turkey meatballs (P,S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan

Afternoon all, still here 🥴
Did the muddy run (walk) last Saturday, was a laugh but cold & wet. The mud was just muddy water in the obstacles as weather was dry. Without the cool wind it was quite a nice day. Managed to bruise my arm 🥴 which is nothing compared to one poor woman who’s ankle was pointing the wrong way 😲.Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I was just about wiping my nose on the wages by being frugal ( heating didn't go on until near the end of December and off again in March, thermostat when on set at 14 degrees, lights etc not switched on) but losing just those few hours tips the balance.
I think I'm going to have to put my big girl knickers on and bite the bullet and claim UC and hope it doesn't mess things up too much.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Hi all,
Glad DDad is doing okay @bubbs x
Great weightloss @SingleSue - hope you can get UC sorted xx
Good that your GP phoned you @joedenise - hope they can get to the bottom of it all x
Enjoy Seville @Jellybaby x
Ewwww to the ankle injury @TakeItEazy - so awful
Yes @maman that film was very much like our walk - especially the feet!!!!
Mum and DDad had a nice day out yesterday and she managed not to leave him on a bench. I drove her and dog home afterwards, then went on to Canterbury to collect DS2. Was on the road for 2.5 hours - I have no idea how people drive for a living! We had a new recipe from the app last night - Basa fillets with a quark, prawn and spring onion topping. Really nice.
I was given the new mag at group this morning as a thank you for doing pay. Haven't had a chance to look yet but know it features some of the traybake recipes from the new book that's coming with the next CD offer.
We are having roast gammon this evening with baby potatoes, tenderstem brocolli, carrots and cauli cheese..... Wine may also be involved, although I've just opened a Pep$i max so maybe not.....
Have a good evening all,
Coxy

Half on, half out of target 🙄
Jelly enjoy your break 😁
Sue i am sorry you are not well, hope you get sorted quick, have a hug xx
I have been really naughty today, bothered...........not bothered 🤣🤣
Started out well
Banana and 3 apricots at group,
Made a half hexa cheese spread , ham and beetroot, hexb.
But straight after group i went to pick Mum up as had already arranged this before Dad was back in hospital to take her for covid jab and opticians . So we went Lidl , then doctors for jab, and to Morrisons, as we were shopping i got a message from my sister the hospital had been trying to ring mum, dad was very unsettled , confused and trying to get out the door 😫they needed to put a DOL's in place and would she agree to it? This is deprivation of liberty. Yes she will because he is better with that anyway. So now we are thinking back to square one, Mum was upset and crying, i said to her but remember they did not see him before.
We went in the cafe, had a cuppa and now i could have had something healthy 🤣 but decided on a belgian bun and a cuppa as was peed off! Yesterday was such a good visit.
Anyway we then went opticians and was then going farmfoods but didn't feel like it so went straight to the hospital, one good thing today out of parking 4 times we got a disabled bay every time 👏👏 there is a first for everything.
Walking to the ward, I was just infront of mum then she screams, quick s a flash i turn round, she had tripped over one of them stupid rubber mats in the hospital 😱😱somehow she saved herself with her stick, she said god knows how! I said bloody hell that's all we want you in here!!
We ring the buzzer to get in and was both dreading it, he was out of bed and Mum said what are you doing? oh hello he says 🤣 they had moved the nurses station near him to watch him.
He has refused medication and food 😏 been up and down all night, shouting , going in other peoples room 🙄 He says he ate his lunch 😂 they even gave him some medication in water to get it down him like that and he wouldn't drink it. ..............till we got there, Mum said come on drink this, he said it tastes really sweet, mum said it's water how can it be sweet? I said if you drink all that i will get you some nice cold water and make you some nice orange. Ok he says 😂 and ended up drinking 2 1/2 sippy cups. I also went and got a banana from the car and he at that.
The nurse couldn't believe it she said the power of family 😍
Hence i was starving again, ate a pk of rice cakes, individual pack, made pizza when i got in not to bad 7 syns and hexa, ate 3 onions rings, 2 mini duck rolls, and salad, then dh didn't want half of his so ate that as well 🤣🤣so a few syns today.

@bubbs, I think all things considered you were really restrained, id have had half a bottle of scotch and enough calories and fat to have sunk a battle shipBe kind to yourself, thats a hell of a lot you are dealing with@maman, I could only wish someone else cooked
My night off means I dont think about anyone else other then moi. Mum sorts herself out - she loves it, she eats cake and toasties and Mr L either goes for a take away , very rare as we have to drive a good distance, or he gets what I can be bothered with. Today he struck lucky and got chilli salmon pasta . Not as good as usual as I usually pick up some hot smoked salmon and all I had was "fresh salmon" in the freezer , but I threw in mushrooms, tomatoes and scallions to give it a bit more oomph , usually it would be olives and chrunchy things like garlic breadcrumbs. Still very edible and my sat here with belly hanging out
Other Saturday nights it would be toasties and soup, a fishfinger sandwich or an omelette0 -
@bubbs - @Longwalker is right you need to be kind to yourself.
Agree with @Longwalker you were quite restrained! You'll soon pull that back over the week and lose that pesky half pound!
Wish I was only half out of target, LOL! Haven't managed to shift anything since Wednesday! Was 1.5lb over target and was the same this morning. I've been sticking to plan and not gone over 15 syns a day - most days less than 10. Will keep plodding!0
