Hey still to read back and catch up but hope you’re all having a great weekend.

A wee half pound on for me today. Not sure how to feel about it as I’ve been great all week but was out for an Indian meal last night so still feel full. But DS1 is home so all is well with us 😄

Morning all, going to try and finish the washing today.  Forecast to stay dry again so hopefully get it all dry as well.  There were a couple of things from the final load which didn't completely dry but they're dry this morning so can be put away while the first load is washing.

Sorry to hear your ongoing problems @TakeItEazy but as @maman says I wouldn't worry about the small gain you have more important things in life going on at the moment.  Well done to your boy on his new job.

I wouldn't worry about a half lb gain @Jellybaby you'll be able to shift that quickly.

I on the other hand have quite a bit to lose to get back to target range as I put on 8.5lb whilst away!  Think it may well be a very long time before I go back to group I think - don't like paying!!!  Doesn't help going to see my sister for a week as she doesn't do SW friendly food - she doesn't think I need to lose any weight, in fact thinks I'm underweight.  She can't understand why I feel uncomfortable at being the weight I am!

So it's back on plan for a few days before travelling up to Glasgow:

    B - fry up - bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans - P; S; F
L - burger, onions, gherkin slices in WM soft pitta - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - jerk chicken, rice 'n' peas - P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
    Syns - burger 0.5; honey 1.5; coconut milk 2

    Have a good day everyone.

Edited to add that the washing mountain is finished and on the line in the sunshine to dry.

  • Hi all,

Bit of a difference in weather from yesterday here. Managed a 2 mile run and was even quicker than last week, also noticed my recovery time was an awful lot quicker.

Off to an afternoon tea house warming, I've purposely eaten a large lunch to fill me up and hopefully will curb temptations.

    Food for today:

B: Overnight oats mixed berries 1/2 syn

L: tuna and sweetcorn salad, counting 2 syns for salad cream. Beetroot, tomatoes and cucumber.

D: plan is gammon, Jersey royals, cauliflower and broccoli with what should be syn free but hex a cheese sauce.

Snacks  1 hifi 1/2 hex b, apple and 2 plums.

    Total planned syns 2.5

WI tomorrow, after last week's gain I've no idea which way the scales are going.

Focus on having your boy home🎉🍾 @Jellybaby and just 'be good when you can' to quote @joedenise. You'll have time to sort the tiny gain afterwards.

Well done @joedenise on seeing off the washing mountain! It rained here at lunchtime but it's cleared up since.

I think we all know a weight we're comfortable with both literally and psychologically. There's nothing worse than clothes feeling tight, a daily reminder of the extra pounds we don't want. ☹️ It's a shame your sister doesn't eat SW friendly food but I'm sure you'll attack that gain when you get back from Scotland.

I portioned up the chilli for the freezer, 4 meals and 3 small ones for JPs. I enjoyed one for my lunch today. 😋

I'm well within syns after my alcohol free Friday. I'm out for dinner on Tuesday so plan to use them then.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
    L- JP (F), chilli (P, S), cottage cheese (P), pickled cabbage (S)
D- roast chicken (P), roast potatoes, parsnips, LM stuffing (F), many vegetables (S)
    Syns - gravy 4.weekend wine 😁

Morning all, had a bit of rain overnight but forecast to be another dry day.  Hope it is as DH has made arrangements to play golf this afternoon.

Agre with @maman about your pudding last night - it certainly looked a masterpiece.  You are very good at presenting your food.  They say you eat with your eyes and your plates of food definitely make me feel hungry!

Forgot to get my lamb joint out on Saturday night so didn't get it out until yesterday morning so it's going to be our "Sunday roast" tonight!  Plenty of prepped frozen veg in the freezer as had a load of carrots and a couple of peppers which needed to be sorted before we went away.  Planning on cooking extra veg for lunch tomorrow.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon and mushroom sandwich - HEB; P; S; 3.5
    L - jacket potato, tuna mayo - P; F; 2
D - roast lamb, roast potatoes, roasted carrots, peppers & onions, frozen green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 3.5; Light mayo 2

    Have a good day everyone.
