Well miracles do happen- I lost half a pound this morning!Mum forgot what medication she needed to order, found a prescription, lost it, found it again but then discovered the second page was missing and she couldn’t remember what was on it 🙈🙈 after much discussion with the pharmacist I think it’s sorted! Shopping was abandoned until tomorrow 😳
Wine syns are definitely being consumed here!0 -
Meant to say well done on the loss @TakeItEazy and sorry about the gain but lucky you on the raffle and SOTW basket @bubbs 🥳🥳

Well done on your loss @Jellybaby. 👏👏👏 Enjoy your wine syns tonight!
What a palaver with your mum. Our local pharmacy has stopped giving a paper copy of repeat prescriptions (unless you ask). They said you can use the NHS app or the GP's website. I'm sure your mum would get on well with that! 🤔🤣
Shame about your gain @bubbs. Again, it doesn't make sense but you did well with the raffle tickets. 👍0 -
I made a pea & cougette rissotto for tea.

TakeItEazy said:Oh quick question for those on PIP, Hubby only gets the mobility part but circumstances have changed. How does he go about changing his claim? Thanks in advance 💞
He would notify the PIP team of a change of circumstances & give the reasons why.
They look at the whole claim claim again & remember there is always a liklihood however small that he could loose the award.

I loathe feeling I have been taken advantage of.
I am still amazed at the £18 for risotto.
Lucky if the ingredients cost even a couple of quid.
Mind you my mum have said for years that if you thought about it you would never eat out.
