    Hi everyone,

Welcome @MrsPorridge x Hope you have a lovely holiday and looking forward to supporting your progress with SW.

Wonderful photos @ruby_eskimo - welcome back and well done on your loss!!

I was in the office yesterday so didn't manage to get on here. I'm WFH today then heading to London to the budget hotel for the night. Feeling really anxious but trying to stave it off with positive thoughts of WHY we go hiking and all the money we have raised (£12,200 at the last count). I'm packed, just need to change into my walking clothes before I go.

    Food today:
B - Weetabix choc melts, strawberries, blueberries, mullerlight vanilla - HEB, S, 0.5
L - LOs - either pork bolognaise or peanut butter chicken pasta (there's a portion of each in the fridge) - free of 2.5
D - something light - will take an apple and banana with me to London and buy an orzo pot in M&S - 2, S, free
    HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar 3 plus 5 so 8 total

I will try to update from Lancashire/Cheshire or you can PM me for the FB page if anyone's interested :)

Morning all, looking dry at the moment but rain forecast for later.  Need to nip out later and get some more fruit as not much left.  We seem to be getting through tons at the moment.  Only going to pick up some grapes this morning as have a Morrisons TGTG bag to pick up this evening which hopefully will have a reasonable amount fruit and veg in like they usually do.  Hopefully there will be no bread as freezer is rammed full.

Looking forward to hearing about your hike as and when you can @Coxy11.  Just hope you have some decent weather for it.  Nothing worse that hiking in the rain and/or cold.  Good luck.

    Today's plan:

    B - Weetabix; milk; strawberries, blueberries - HEB; part HEA2; S
    L - Brunch hash, eggs - P; S; F
    D - spag bol - P; S; F; part HEA2

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese (cheddar/parmasan)
    HEB - Weetabix
    Syns - not decided yet!

    Have a good day everyone.
  • Afternoon everyone.

Welcome @Pennypincin, of course you can join.😊 You've done amazingly well to lose so much so quickly. 👍🏼

I think you're doing fabulously well with your hiking @Coxy11. The money you've raised alone makes it really worthwhile on top of the exercise, the time spent with DSis and just rising to the challenge.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I think this coming week could be the best yet as weather is due to improve considerably after today. Looking forward to reading all about it. 🤗

You do get through a lot of fruit @joedenise but far better you snack on that in the evenings than fill yourself up with synful junk. Good luck with the TGTG bag.

Yesterday went from bad to worse. DD1 came round in the evening unexpectedly as they had a power cut at home. Wine was opened. 😉

Bolognese is bubbling away in the SC . I only have 1 portion left in the freezer but DD2 is coming on Saturday and DH asked if we could have lasagne if they stay for lunch so wanted to do it today rather than rush about tomorrow evening. I didn't have any mince in the freezer so called into Sainsbury's this morning while I was out, fortunately it's price matched with Aldi for the 5%.

We did go to our walking group this morning despite the weather. We only did a short walk though and then stopped for coffee. 😁

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- LO ham hash (P,S,F), pickles (S), fried egg (P)
D- meatballs in tomato sauce (P,S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- chocolate 2.5

Glad you decided to join us @pennypincin and you're very welcome.

TGTG bag got cancelled about 3pm so went over to Morrisons to get what was on my shopping list including plenty of fruit!

I've still got mince on my list but not needed immediately so it can wait until next week.  We seem to get through loads of it because it's so versatile.  Same with chicken but I topped up the chicken supplies last week so have plenty at the moment.
