What a palaver with your mum. Our local pharmacy has stopped giving a paper copy of repeat prescriptions (unless you ask). They said you can use the NHS app or the GP's website. I'm sure your mum would get on well with that! 🤔🤣

I might need more wine to cope if this happened 🤣🤣

Morning all, it's a bit cloudy this morning but supposed to be brightening up later so have done the bedding and got it out on the line to dry but it's just hanging there - not a breath of a breeze at all!

Meant to say well done on your losses @TakeItEazy and @Jellybaby; shame about the gain @bubbs but I'm sure that will shift this week.  Well done of winning both raffle prizes.

We can't even get our prescriptions without actually going into the surgery to order them or by emailing them - the NHS app goes to the main surgery in town and not the local surgery and if we've needed to put a note on the app it never gets passed on so now I just email the local surgery each month for our repeat prescriptions, it's a pain but needs to be done so we can just pick up the prescriptions from the pharmacy when it's convenient rather than picking them up from the surgery in their limited opening hours!

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon and tomato sandwich - HEB; P; S; 3.5
    L - jacket potato, baked beans, salad, pickles - S; F
D - toad in the hole, roast potatoes, roasted carrots, green beans, steamed cabbage - S; F; 6.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 3.5; flour 4.5; sausages 2

    Have a good day everyone.

Another glorious day here.😁 Line is full of laundry, using every last peg! 🤣

We're very lucky that both the surgery and pharmacy are only a few minutes walk away from home. DH prefers GP not to send the prescription direct to pharmacy as his medication seems frequently out of stock. If it's not a 'tied' prescription then he can tour around the area until he finds a pharmacy with it in stock. 🤔☹

Having decided I'm not going to bin the light mayonnaise because the mse in me can't do it, I'm still using more syns than I'd like but fortunately visitors had some with their salad yesterday!👍🏼

I've just cooked a large pot of carrot and swede mash so some for later and the rest for the freezer.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, loads of berries (S)
    L- LO lasagne (P,S,F, HEA2), salad (S)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns- light mayo 2?, HM gravy 4, weekend wine😁

Morning all, looks like it's going to be another lovely day.  Not planning any washing today as today's the day I have my 2nd eye operation but not until this afternoon.  Will be glad when it's all over!

Brilliant deal on the strawberries @bubbs.  I really wish we had a Farm Foods near us but think the nearest is in Canterbury which is a good hours driving so not feasible.

I'm going to stick to plan but will be having a takeaway this evening as unlikely to be out of the hospital until about 6.30pm!

    Today's plan:

    B - weetabix, yoghurt, a little milk, grapes - HEB; F; 1
    L - Greek salad - HEA2; 11.5
    D - takeaway chicken kebab and salad (no pitta!) - P; S; 2(?)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - feta
    Syns - extra milk 1; olives 1.5; 1/2 demi baguette 10; oil 2

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

Hope the op goes well this afternoon @joedenise
The strawberries look lush @bubbs I bought some from Morrisons on Saturday and they have gone mushy 🤢

WFH most of this week which is good food wise as I really need to be completely on plan for any hint of a loss!

    Today's food:
B - fruit salad and f/f Greek yoghurt
L - ham salad with boiled eggs, pickles
D - chicken curry with rice

    Have a good day all!
