Absolutely fabulous! @beanielou 😍 not paying is going to be my motivation once DS has gone again (have I mentioned he arrives on Friday 🤣🤣) I'm already starting to look at costs I can cut further to ease retirement at the end of the year.

So happy your dad is home and happy @bubbs hope he - and your mum - slept well last night.

Your dinner sounds lush @Coxy11 is the recipe on the app?

    Today's plan:
    B - f/f yoghurt, strawberries
    L - lentil soup
D - diet cola chicken, baby potatoes, mixed green stuff

    Have a good day everyone!

Morning all, still very warm but fortunately not as hot but has been quite windy the last few days.

Great to hear that your dad is home and eating.  Hope he sleeps well too.

I agree with @bubbs that you could have plated up the meal and reheated it after WI.  I always eat before WI as otherwise it would be a late lunch before eating and would also be doing shopping on an empty stomach which is never a good idea!
  • Morning all,

I think I've just kind of fell into a bad routine with my eating on a Monday. I'll be going back to eating when I get home. Again not having a microwave makes it trickier with reheating food.
My OH is away next week so I can happily stick to my plan without his "helpful" suggestions/interfering 😁

Anyway, in light of last night's gain and in case I'm wrong on where that came from I'm going to religiously complete a food diary this week.

    Today's plan

B: overnight weetabix hex b, raspberries and blueberries free

L: I've no idea? Lunches are possibly needing work, I do the grocery shop and focus on everyone else's lunch bar myself! Either salad or scrambled egg and beans, mushrooms and tomatoes

D: Chicken and Vegetable curry and rice. Not sure if I'll go for ease and syns or effort and free - having a meeting at school tonight.

    Afternoon all.

Congrats on being back in target @beanielou

Good to hear your dad is doing well at home @bubbs

Your son is back Friday @Jellybaby?  I had no idea 🤣

Managed a workout last night and a run before work this morning as I have a Dr's appointment and then I'm getting my hair cut this evening (that's going to give me a loss next week surely?!?🤣)  Breakfast was yogurt and blueberries, lunch was carrot and coriander soup and dinner is some leftover chicken curry with mushroom rice.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Hi @Jellybaby the recipe is from an old mag from 2019.

Pork fillet, pack of parma ham, 120g spinach, 2 crushed garlic cloves.
    • Spray a pan with fry light and wilt spinach then add garlic. Squeeze through a sieve to release moisture.
    • Cut a piece of cling film longer than the pork fillet. Lay parma ham, overlapping at right angles to the long side of the cling film.
    • Lay pork fillet on top of the parma ham and slice lengthways. Fill with the spinach stuffing and then wrap the parma ham round.
    • Wrap securely in cling film and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
Bake for 30 minutes at 180 fan/200 regular.

I'm hoping it's going to be yummy with some veg.
