Morning all. Well done to the losers this week (sorry too many to keep up with!)
Hope you don't catch your hubby's cold @bubbs and hope your dad's transition to being back at home goes well.
Good luck @beanielou - I'm also feeling very bloated but did manage a half pound loss this week which is better than nothing!
Busy day again, have a blood test this afternoon and a dr's appointment tomorrow. Breakfast was egg on toast with an apple afterwards, lunch is cucumber and carrot sticks with some homemade hummus and a couple of slices of ham and dinner is spag bol.

Well done on your loss @ruby_eskimo. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 It all counts.😊
✌🏼 for @beanielou and @annabanana82 for tonight's WI. You never know!
You're right @annabanana82. It's getting to the point where the cost of energy for cooking is more than the food itself. I think, like @maddiemay, we're all trying to find recipes that are quick or use the microwave, slow cooker or other energy saving way.
We're having hake tonight. It's a fish I used to have as a child and have had occasionally in restaurants. I hope we enjoy it as it was quite good value compared with cod and haddock. I loved your 'if it swims it slims' comment @Coxy11. It sounds like @joedenise has eaten little else! 🤣
Shame about DH's cold @bubbs. I do hope it doesn't mess up your plans.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- cold meat (P), fried veg and pickles (S) potato (F)
D- baked hake (P), SW chips, mushy peas (F), carrot chips, green stuff, tomatoes and mushrooms (S)

@ruby_eskimo well done with the 1/2lb off, my personal target is for 1/2lb off tomorrow, but feel is a touch optimistic as I lost focus for 4 days with the stinky head cold.
@annabanana82 I have only tried baked oats once as yet, in the Ninja grill, but my container was too shallow so not sure how close to the original it was. Wondering as quite edible mug cakes can be made in the microwave, if the same would be ok done in one, particularly if the oats were ground up.
@maman my experiment with the Orzo pasta bake was quite good in the big N pot, but the recipe I followed was for steam cooking and the carrots and celery were a bit crunchy, next time will pressure cook.
Today's effort is SW Lamb Tagine, trying this in the slow cooker function. It will be cooled and re-heated tomorrow.
Tonight will be Teriyaki Salmon an assortment of veg and some form of potato yet to be decided. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
I lost 2lb this week. Although it was my first week and hoping for more, I am a very slow looser so 2lb will do and it is still a lossMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

On a good week it would be a lb but most weeks a half but doesn’t matter as long as the losses continue. We all get where we want to be at some point.

Well done @slm6002@maddiemay I don't have a microwave so options are limited for a warm breakfast.I'm disappointed I didn't eat what I made for my family today, pork tenderloin rolled in stuffing mix, roasted veg carrots/leeks and red onions, as well as roasted new pots. Not syn free but it looked and smelt fab.
I've decided for tomorrow's breakfast I'm doing the overnight weetabix, fat free yoghurt mixed with a tsp of sweetener and lemon essence and topped with blueberries and raspberries. Just need to work out what pot to use.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

@bubbs I don't usually eat before WI, I used to then got out of the habit.I'm up two pounds tonight. After all the running the last couple of weeks, and being on plan I am a little disappointed. But my hormones are haywire and I did have a bowl of fruit salad late afternoon, so will just have to see what the scales say next weekMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
